The last two courses of the CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration curricula require PT 4.11 at a minimum

Both curricula are fully compatible with PT5.1

New PT5.1 activities will be integrated into CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration

Editing a PT Activity You are teaching a class in CCNA Discovery: Working at a Small-

to-Medium Business or ISP (D2)

In Chapter 4 “Planning the Addressing Structure,” your students have completed the PT Activity “4.1.3.5: Implementing an IP Addressing Scheme”

The objectives for this PT Activity include:Subnet an address space based on the host requirements

Assign host addresses to devices

Configure devices with IP addressing

Verify the addressing configuration

You decide your students would benefit from completing another similar activity with the same objectives

Take the existing PT activity and modify the activity with different address space requirements

PT Activity Wizard Vocabulary Answer network: The network that you want students

to end up with after they perform whatever configuration tasks they are instructed to complete. The “correct” answer.

Initial network: The network that you give students to begin with in completing the activity. This can be as “complete” or incomplete as you like. Just remember that you need to give clear instructions so that students know what Answer network you are expecting.
