The Good News & Bad News abou
LiceThe Good News is that lice
do not spread disease.
They rarely fall from the head, so the
do not live in carpets, clothes, hats or
sheets. The Bad News is that they are
nuisance to be dealt with. If concern
about bedding & stuffed toys, 20
minutes in the clothes dryer on high
heat should work. Using a hair dryer
should be sufficient to dehydrate and
kill any live nits. There are new spray
products on the market that claim to
repel lice to prevent infestation. The
is no single treatment that kills 100%
head lice or eggs. Use a method that
will not risk the health of your child.
Whichever treatment you choose, it
can take time and persistence to get
of head lice. Most drug stores (Targe
Walgreen’s, etc) carry a variety of
products to help with this.
The PTA now accepts credit cards at
our events! We welcome Cash, Check
or Major Credit Cards at our upcoming
Pancake Breakfast, as well as for PTA
Memberships, Tiles, Donations, Spirit
Wear, Yearbooks, etc.
