    An easy decision

Girolamo Morisco explains, “We went to visit six companies, and eventually decided that the EFI VUTEk GS3250lx Pro was the right printer for us. It was an easy decision to make: cutting-edge

technology, impeccable print quality, a wider choice of media and, most importantly, we are able to rely on the professionalism of EFI employees.”

Just a couple of months after its installation, Publiauto is already using its VUTEk printer at full production speed. “By now, we are using our printer for 80% of our job orders as production is faster and more convenient,” says Morisco.

Thanks to the VUTEk printer, Publiauto has been able to increase the range of services it offers for point of purchase, acquiring new orders and entering new markets as a result. “Put simply, EFI VUTEk technology has given the company a new lease on life,” says Morisco.

Increasing productivity while maintaining the very highest quality standards

“Thanks to VUTEk, we have seen a reduction in production times of almost 70% in comparison to machines that use eco-solvent technology, which have to treat materials using additional processes such as adhesive coupling, followed by the application of coupled adhesives to Dibond,” says Morisco. “The EFI VUTEk printer offers multilayer printing directly onto Dibond material in a single pass and it takes less than five minutes. Thanks to faster print times, we are

already increasing the amount of materials we can produce and are confident we will be able to tackle the numerous customer requests we receive, which we have previously had to turn down due to time constraints.”

EFI cool cure LED technology allows printing on speciality materials and heat-sensitive surfaces, rigid and flexible media with a thickness of up to 5.08 cm, and sheet or roll-to-roll materials with a width of up to 3.2 m. “Our increase in productivity is reliant on numerous factors, not just a wider choice of different substrates. The machine automatically switches on and off and we’ve also reduced company waste as prints always come out well, so there’s no need to reprint designs,” explains Morisco.

The EFI VUTEk GS3250lx Pro printer is the perfect solution, with no need to compromise on quality. EFI UltraDrop™ Technology prints exceptionally clear text and high-definition quality images using two ink density levels. “VUTEk features are perfect for producing materials for point of purchase. We are currently growing this side of the business as there is a great demand for it,” says Morisco.

The option to print using white ink also made for an interesting discovery. “We printed white ink onto dark materials using the VUTEk GS3250lx Pro. The results were excellent and there was no need to reprint any of our designs. There is no comparison with our previous solvent machine, which often required various tests and a lamination step.”

    A successful future in sight

Quality has always been at the heart of Publiauto, with the company focusing on employee training and technology investments. “Employee professionalism is very important to us because we know that experience, customer support, reliability and professional ethics are the key to success. We have decided to couple the company’s ethics with the EFI VUTEk printer, which guarantees high productivity and superior print quality,” explains Morisco. “The wide range of printing materials, such as Dibond, glass, acrylic, forex, wood, PVC and roll-to-roll PVC adhesives allows us to focus on new markets and improve our services in the retail sector.”

Morisco concluded by stating that “we can finally turn our customers’ dreams into reality.”

    Result:
