Extract from old (redundant?) Guidance Notes: Programme Contingency - Impact On the Contractor

The Contractor must factor in the programme contingency set by the Employer in tender documents both in the Contractor's tendered price and work programme for the project. For example take a project where an p g p j p p jemployer has set in the tender documents:

the Date for Substantial Completion which gives an overall construction period of 24 calendar months andperiod of 24 calendar months. and the programme contingency at 60 working days (i.e. 3 calendar months).
