Introduction
SourceDogg allows user to publish various types of notices to Contracts Finder, TED and FTS services
through an interface in the SourceDogg application. The user is able to publish ad-hoc notices that
are not related to any current RFx events run on SourceDogg or can create notices using the details
in the RFx being published on SourceDogg.
Publishing Notice from RFx
If you want to publish an Opportunity notice to either the Contracts Finder, TED and FTS services
while concurrently publishing your RFx event on SourceDogg, you must select the TED, FTS and/or
Contracts Finder checkboxes on the Request Details tab of the RFx.
First, you need to select the Open Request checkbox in the Publications Settings of the RFx. This will
activate further options where you can select TED, FTS and/or Contacts Finder.

Once this has been completed, populate the rest of the content of the request and add suppliers
(optional as the request will be ‘Open’ and any supplier can join once they click on the link published
to TED, FTS or CF services.)
When you publish the request, the system then automatically creates draft notices for respective
services and shows the link to these in SourceDogg. The link is displayed on the Request Details tab,
as per the picture below.
Draft notices for a particular RFx can be accessed directly by clicking on this link. This will open the
notice in a new browser window. The draft notice will be pre-populated with the details contained in
the RFx event such as the addresses, links, dates, etc.
Note: The amount of information to be entered depends on the type of notice and reflects the
requirements of Contracts Finder, TED or FTS services respectively.

Publishing Ad-hoc notices
You can also use the SourceDogg platform to publish types of notices outside RFx workflow process -
e.g. Prior Information Notice. This notice would not have a matching RFx event created at the time
of publishing.
To create an ad-hoc notice, click on Publish Notices in the ‘Resources’ menu available at the top of
any page on SourceDogg. Alternatively, you can add the Publish Notices tile to your home screen.
(for details on how to do this please click here)
Then select ‘Create Notice’ in the top right-hand corner of the page. This will open the ‘Notice
Details’ page, where you need to select the service you are publishing to and the type of notice you
want to create. Then you can select if you want to create a brand new notice or use one of the
existing RFx event’s details.

After you select these three settings for your notice, you need to click on the ‘Save Details’ button
on the right, which will create a draft notice and allow you to fill-in the required details.
In the next step fill all the mandatory information indicated by the red outline of the textboxes.
When finished, click on the Publish button. Your draft notice can be saved at any stage during the
completion of the notice by clicking on the “Save Details” button.
