VOLUME 832 AUGUST 2017 ISSUE 8
President’s Report
I hope everyone is enjoying the outdoors during this incredible summer
weather. Please no open fires anywhere on the property and smokers please stay
on paved, concrete, or graveled areas while smoking. We ask that you extinguish
and properly dispose of all tobacco products.
There has been some inconsistency with registration on the ranges. All persons
Members and Public are required to sign in prior to using the ranges. The infor-
mation is important in case of emergencies, identification, and shooter flow on
busy days. If your memory is like mine write your vehicle license number on the
back of your membership card or save it in your phone.
Heading into August we continue to have many special events: Sporting Clays,
Hunter Education, 600 Yard Shoot, Steel Pistol Challenge, and more. Watch the
calendar for range closures.
Enjoy your summer vacation; I hope to spend part of mine scouting.
Gary Higginbotham, President
The Sportsman
