Dear Neighbors,

We had a very busy spring in Twin Lakes of Brandon this year. It was almost a full time job to keep the announcement board and website up to date as our CSAC Chairwoman, Danielle Stevens continued to keep us hopping with the Easter Bunny, recycling with Impact, and movie watching under the stars with Ghostbusters! PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE(continued from page 1...)

Finally, we would like to thank a very special property manager, Ray Leonard for all of his eorts to help keep our Twin Lakes of Brandon the wonderful community that it is today. Ray lives north of Tampa and the travels to our community have been quite the eort and with the mounting trac to our desirable area,it has become too much of a burden. All of our best wishes go out to Ray. He is working closely with our new GPI property manager, Katt Sears who will be taking over for Ray. We wouldlike to welcome Katt to our community and hope to have her full support as we did with Ray. Katt can be reached thru email at [email protected]. Please help us welcome Katt to our community.

Have we missed something? Please feel free to contact anyone on the board, including myself at [email protected] with any ideas or suggestions to help keep our community pristine.

My best wishes for you and your families,

Joanne Bialas

NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC SAFETY REMINDERSSchool is out for the summer, which means that kids are out and about playing and riding bikes. Many of us enjoy a stroll around the neighborhood. It's a good time to remind ourselves of 3 things we can do to keep ourselves and others safe on and around neighborhood streets: 1. Stop! at every stop sign. Even if no one is present, it is great practice for when someone is present. 2. Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 - Observe the posted neighborhood speed limit, and go slower when children, cyclists, or pedestrians are present. 3. Hang up and drive. Help keep everyone alive. The death rate due to phone use behind the wheel goes up every year. Our brains are not wired to drive and talk or text on a phone at the same time. We get tunnel vision and are not aware of what is going on around us. Dare to care enough to toss the phone in the trunk if needed in order to focus on the most important task we have behind the wheel - driving. We only become good at the things we practice. Let's all be aware and drive withcare all summer long, and throughout the rest of the year as well.
