    Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published

    containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th

    months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions

    of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.

    The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are

    discontinued from 01/01/2009.

The apparatus is uniquely provided with a buoyant member that is attached to the U-shaped arm to float relative to the level of the fluid in the tank. Furthermore, the invention explains the presence of at least one magnet disposed proximate to the buoyant member for generating a measurable voltage in tandem with the Hall integrated chip placed on the printed circuit board to indicate the fluid level in the tank corresponding to the variable voltage in a vehicle information display instrument in the vehicles. The apparatus may be applied to sense the level of the fuel in a fuel tank for vehicles.     (57) Abstract : The present subject matter relates to a taillight assembly for a motor vehicle that is structured with a light source unit holder to receive a light source unit structured with two filaments, each for illumination and brake light. The tail light assembly is further provided with a base extending from the rear of the vehicle to hold the light source unit holder and a hood mounted to the base to house the light source unit. The tail light assembly is governed by an electronic circuit structure that includes an illumination circuit and a brake light circuit to regulate the indication of failure of both respective filaments of the light source unit. The illumination circuit and the brake light circuit are provided with respective current sensing integratsd chips that get energized on activating an illumination switch and a brake light switch respectively. The illuminatioh circuit and the brake light circuit of the tail light assembly is further provided with plurality of comparators to compare the output voltage of the current sensing integrated chips with a reference voltage.     (57) Abstract : Geotechnical and highway engineering have a high potential for utilization of large volume of the fly ash stabilited mixes. In this study, an attempt has been made to investigate the use of Class F fly ash mixed with lime precipitated electroplating waste sludge-cement as a base material in highways. A series of tests were performed on specimens prepared with fly ash, cement and lime precipitated waste sludge. California bearing ratio (CBR) tests were conducted for 70%-55% fly ash, 8%cement, and 30%-45%waste sludge combinations. Results show that the load bearing strength of the mix is highly dependent on the waste sludge content, cement as well as curing period. The CBR value of fly ash mixed with electroplating waste sludge and cement has been increased to manifold and results the reduction in the construction cost of the pavement. The study also encourages the use of two potentially hazardous wastes for mass scale utilization without causing danger to the environment, vegetation, human and animal lives.
