Music Mags was founded in 1996 and managed by the music magazine publishing association (mmpa). The company express their passion for written knowledge and addressing the reader to the best level they possibly can. The distribute magazines such as bass play, dj mag and EQ, some similar to my genre of magazine. They do not distribute any other kind of products aside from different genre’s of magazines. The company are based in the Uk however have good international reaches.

They may not be the best publisher for my magazine because the genre’s are not really relatable to my own. They are a relatively large company and publish a good amount of magazines, however only 1 or 2 of these are dance music magazines.

IPC media was founded in 1985 and is a huge media distributor, consumer and publisher within the uk. The distribute many products across different platforms such as equestrian, sport, home, fashion, lifestyle, teen, TV and women; as well as music. The most relatable magazine, to my own, that they publish is nme however adding my magazine to their market may add a better variety.

IPC is a time warner company and therefore has relations and business partners mainly in america and various other places internationally.
