And, squares are not among the most beautiful in Europe. People gather on squares rarely, only in key historical moments. Therefore, for public life remained taverns, restaurants, bars and in newer time – cafés; those cradles that swayed away famous Belgrade spirit″

In our country tavern is also known as ″the second house″, and that is the reason why the first edition of magazine UNO was called “The Second House of Belgrade”.

Eventful part of publication was also, what we call, “the spirit of tavern”. There were stories where writers had a peep into a history of Belgrade’s hospitality, about taverns that no longer exist, and about whom BranislavNusic, famous poet wrote with so much love…Their own place also found poets who were inspired by the spirit of tavern and wrote unforgettable lyrics…

It all began because of the group of “tavern lovers” who wanted to memorize a spirit of bohemian time in publication which, according to first idea, supposed to be more than a typical tavern guide. This publication was image to have practical, informative part which would present leading hotels, restaurants and taverns in new, original, and, at that time, innovative way.

Today, magazine UNO is the only specialized publication in Serbian national letter, modernly equipped, creatively designed, with idea that did not changed from the first day – that this domain deserves good magazine about and for itself.

New actions, new themes, interesting articles, interviews with people from public life, new trends, reminding of our past…

Everything that can be interesting for host and their guest. A lot of different subjects, but informative and qualitative.

During all this years, magazine UNO tried to memorize a time, the spirit of tavern which is, verily, disappearing in its fundamental state. It is being substituted with luxury restaurants, hotels of international hotel chains and categories, modernly outfitted cafés and bars.

UNO annotates, as a chronicler of more than one decade, all occurrences in hospitality and tourism, openings of new hotels and restaurants, closings of others, preparing of old courses, UNO brings new dishes from different sides of the Globe, writes about dilemmas of people in business, joys when hotel gets a new star, tears of sorrow when team loses in skill competition, and happiness of those who takes home their trophies…

Magazine UNO is specialized publication for hospitality, hotel and restaurant business and tourism which successfully consort happenings in this economic areas for over a decade.

From the first day UNO can be bought only through our subscription system. Number of our subscribers is growing from year to year, and covers entire territory of Serbia and some parts of Montenegro….

Because magazine UNO is bound for people in hospitality, hotel and restaurant business and tourism, it is from the first day distributed through subscription system, as regard to final customer.

Magazine UNO is printed in circulation of 7000 copies. Our subscribers are all major and most of minor hospitality companies, hotels, motels, ins, restaurants…
