conception through to a fi nished

large amounts of wastage from the

development process through to

production.

In every aspect of our business, we

look for new ways of doing things

sustainably for the good of the

of manufacturing and packaging our

organic cotton• Organic cotton is grown without

pesticides and chemicals.

• GMO free - Not genetically modifi ed.

• Non - organic cotton production uses

more chemicals per unit area than any

other crop and accounts in total for

16% of the world’s pesticides.

sustainable resources.

does not require replantng.

• Bamboo is naturally grown without

pesticides or chemicals.

• Bamboo absorbs 5 times the amount

of CO2 than the same amount of trees.

• It is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal

which makes it great for allergy suff ers.

• Warm in winter and cool in summer.

• 100% biodegradable.

• Bamboo helps to improve soil quality.

• Bamboo does require some chemicals

in the production of the fabric but it’s

overall eco characteristics out way this

problem. With the increasing demand

for more eco fabrics, manufacturers

are inventing new sustainable

processes all the time.

hemp• Hemp is a rapidly growing plant and

can choke out other weeds.

• It has a strong resistance to most

pests so it doesn’t need fertilizers and

chemicals.

• Hemp can be grown with other

legume crops, maturing in just

8-12 weeks fulfi lling it nitrogen

requirements.

• Hemp can be used to reclaim land in

areas prone to drought and fl ood.

• A long and very strong bast fi bre,

hemp has been used for thousands of

years to make products.

• Anti-mildew, UV protection,

thermodynamic and hypoallergenic

qualities.

• Many cotton farmers are fi nding

their land is becoming degraded by

chemical pollution, irrigation and soil

compacting. Hemp fi bre farming may

ease the situation.

• Hemp replenishes soil with nutrients

and nitrogen, controls erosion of the

topsoil, and produces lots of oxygen.

Knit fabrics that Pure Pod uses may

shrink between 3-5%, if washed

correctly. Care instructions should be

read carefully. It is not advisable to

wash garments in warm/hot water or

tumble dry.

Colour Reproduction

Pure Pod produces its catalogue on

recycled paper, so colours may not

be a true representation of the fabric.

Wholesalers can request fabric swatches.

Fabric Colour/Prices and Availability

Due to the nature of the particular

fabrics that Pure Pod uses, the colour,

availability and prices may fl uctuate

from time to time.

Fit and Sizing

Pure Pod sizes are based on the details

below –

orderingReturn and Exchanges

Returns - Pure Pod stands by it’s quality.

If for some reason a garment is faulty,

please return it in original condition,

unworn - unwashed and with swing

tickets attached, immediately to Head

Offi ce for a full refund. Please add

information about the return.

Exchanges - If for some reason you

would like to exchange a garment

because of size or colour, Pure Pod

understands and will happily either give

a credit note or exchange the garment

for a diff erent one, given the garment/s

are unworn and unwashed. A delivery

fee, in this situation, will be charged.

Deposit and Wholesale Orders

As Pure Pod is only a small boutique

company, a 20% deposit is required

on placement of all Wholesale Orders,

with a minimum order amount of

$1000. The remaining balance is to

be paid in full before delivery, unless

prior arrangements are made. Your

understanding with this matter is

appreciated.

Delivery

Pure Pod manufactures all its garments

within Australia, using local makers,

usually to order. Please allow up to 8

weeks for orders to be delivered. This

time may be reduced dramatically if

stock is available at time of order.
