Akrapovič Evolution Abgassystem für MINI Cooper S (R56) und Cooper S Cabrio (R57)

Der Mini als absolutes Kultauto hat längst die Herzen seiner Fans erobert. Der Cooper S, auch Basis für die Mini-Challenge Fahrzeuge, besticht mit seiner Agilität und seinen Go-Kart-ähnlichen Fahrverhalten. Die Ingenieure von Akrapovič ließen sich bei der Entwicklung des neuen Auspuffsystemes für den Mini einiges einfallen, um Cooper S und Cooper S Cabrio zu noch mehr Power zu verhelfen und das Sounderlebnis zu verstärken. Der Anblick von hinten auf die neuen Carbon oder Titan-Doppelendrohre im Racing-Look zeigt nun klar, dass es sich bei diesem Fahrzeug um eine besonders „heiße“ Variante handelt.Die Evolution-Abgasanlage aus Edelstahl besteht aus integrierten Resonator und Endschalldämpfer und ist mit abnehm- und einstellbaren Titan oder wahlweise Carbon-Endrohren versehen. Leistungshungrige Kunden können ihr Evolution System zusätzlich noch mit der optional erhältlichen Down pipe mit 100 cpsi Hi-Flow Metall-Katalysator aufrüsten, die zusätzliche Motorleistung und Drehmoment liegt dann bei 7,6 PS und 7 Nm. Die Gewichtseinsparung dieser Variante liegt bei 3,67 kg.

While the engineers at MINI were polishing up a fresh generation of this icon of the automotiveworld, Akrapovič R&D was developing a new aftermarket exhaust system with an optimized rearmuffler section that meets the EC type-approval (Valid for engine type N18B16A and N14B16A),criteria.The Akrapovič Evolution exhaust system adds to ultimate performance and fun, and makes theMINI even more fun to drive along winding roads. Crafted from the finest stainless steel, thisnew exhaust system consists of an optimized link pipe, a built-in resonator, and a rear muffler.Customers can choose from two sets of tail pipes, made from either prestigious titanium orsportier carbon fiber. Even from a distance it’s easy to see that this MINI has an Akrapovičexhaust system, thanks to the 95 mm increase in diameter. Up close, the tail pipes are a work ofart—they mirror our attention to the smallest detail. The beat of these tail pipes will furtherinspire you to drive dynamically.Compared to the other Akrapovič Evolution system ME-MIN/TI/1H (EC type-approval valid forengine type N14B16A), this new system is suitable for drivers looking for an EC type-approvedsystem for the updated MINI. This new Evolution system offers the classic Akrapovič sound, inwhich not a trace of any unwanted droning, and it has the same sound color as the otherAkrapovič Evolution system for the MINI. The sound level of the new system is appropriate fordrivers looking for a refined system.
