Achievements 1.          Teachers could identify students’ needs. 2.          Teachers could design effective teaching

strategies. 3.          When students read 1 power builder a week, they could read 12 short stories in 3-5 months.

They could complete 4-6 colour levels a year. 4.          Students could manage the SQR techniques as they read a text or book that is unfamiliar to

them. 5.          It is a cross-years independent reading

programme.
