Spray-applied polyurea waterproofing membranes Purtop Range

Waterproofing, polyurea membranes, applied by spray to form continuous coatings suitable for any type of surface with excellent bond adhesion properties, thanks also to the complete range of primers.

Purtop range includes:

ROOFPURTOP SYSTEM Specifically developed for flat roofs (for pedestrian traffic,

inverted roofs and roof gardens), uses Purtop 400 M HK;

PURTOP

DECKSYSTEM Specifically developed for flat roofs subjected to

vehicular traffic, and for large infrastructures such as bridges and viaducts, uses Purtop 400M HK and Purtop 1000 membranes;

KPURTOP SYSTEM

NATSpecifically developed for hydraulic engineering works, uses Purtop 1000 membrane;

The 1.7 km immersed tube tunnel crossing the Victoria Harbour is formed by 11 precast segments. Mapei’s hybrid polyurea waterproofing system was selected to waterproof these precast segments.

City Plaza is a 22-storey Grade A office building with a panoramic view of Victoria harbour. A high performance and fast installation waterproofing system is advantageous for maintenance of the roof. Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link MTRC Contract 823B(Shek Kong Stabling Sidings & Emergency Rescue Sidings)

The scope of work includes the formation of a 27 hectare job site which hosts themaintenance and plant buildings, the Emergency Rescue Siding, drainage system, water course diversions, roadwork, noise barriers, landscaping and linked habitat compensation works. Mapei’s pure and hybrid polyurea waterproofing membranes were selected towaterproof roof tops and sections of the tunnels, respectively.

Contract HK/2009/01 Wan Chai Development Phase II (Central - WanChai bypass at Hong Kong Convention & Exhbition Centre)

Along the coastline at Wan Chai North and North Point, the cut and cover tunnel was built and it needs a high-performance waterproofing system to ensure a safe and efficient transport facilities to public. Purtop 400M HK was proposed to protect the 8,000 m2 tunnel from any leakages.

Scenic Hill Tunnel is a part of Tuen Mun Check Lap Kok Link construction, which included a 1 km dual-3 lane drill and blast tunnel and 1.6 km cut and cover tunnel. Contractor looked for a reliable waterproofing system to prevent from any risk of water leakage which is the reason why Purtop 400M HK was chosen.
