DALLAS – July 22, 2008 – Dallas Market Center, the world’s largest wholesale merchandise resource, will hold an exclusive prom mini-market, the Pre-Market Prom Party, August 11 – 13, 2008 prior to the Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market (August 14 – 17, 2008). The Pre-Market Prom Party will offer buyers the only opportunity to review the complete lines from prom manufacturers and showrooms. The event will also showcase special occasion available on the 14 and 15 floors of the World Trade Center. The Pre-Market Prom Party guarantees that buyers will see the widest collection of prom and special occasion wear allowing them to place orders during this private event. The Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market that follows will offer the largest selection of new lines in women’s apparel and accessories and allow buyers one-stop shopping. “We are excited with the response we have had from exhibitors to participate in our debut mini-market,” said Robbin Wells, executive vice president of leasing, Dallas Market Center. “Buyers will benefit from a strong selection of lines and the ease of working an exclusive prom and special occasion event in their territory.” Lines that will be available include Alyce Designs, Flirt by Maggie Sottero, Jovani, Mori Lee, Nicole Bakti, Niteline, Riva, Sue Wong, Tadashi, Tiffany Designs and many more. Also, new lines will be shown throughout the three day mini-market including Atelier Alyce, Juan Carlos Pinera and Robin Jordan. Prom and special occasion retailers are invited to the invitation only Prom & Special Occasion Party on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the D15TRICT Lounge (15 floor, World Trade Center). The exclusive party will feature one of Dallas’ hottest disc jockeys, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
