Bushfire Management Overlay:
We are proposing to put a machinery shed on the property within thebushfire overlay to store tools and equipment needed to improve the
property.The shed will be purchased from Stratco Sheds and will be totally steelconstruction with a concrete floor.
We have read the Policies and Initiativies of the Bushfire ManagementOverlay report and will comply with the requirements.
We intend positioning the shed in a cleared area of at least 10 metres allaround the building. We will manage grass cover for at least 10 metres allaround the building especially during the declared fire danger period. Theremainder of the property will be used for animal grazing.
We will have a water tank adjacent to the shed for the collection of roofrainwater and we also intend locating a pump at the large dam with apipeline to the shed for fire abatement purposes.

Proposal: Use and Development of a Storage Shed
I refer to your email dated 18 Dec 2019.
I hope that the following information including the enclosed Site Planand Shed Location Plan, answers your requirements.
The shed site would be cut into the slope to remove topsoil and provide a flatstable surface for the shed slab.A 100mm thick reinforced concrete slab would be poured for the shedwith thickened reinforced edge beams and internal beams.The shed will be fixed to the slab in accordance to N3 wind speed.The shed will be designed to N3 winds and be steel framed with corrugatedzincalume walls and roof (zincalume colour).The front or east side of the shed will have a roller door, a sliding door to thenorth side and a small access door to the rear west end.The shed will have 2 small windows as shown on the enclosed elevations.
A 5000 litre capacity rainwater tank will be positioned on the west side ofthe shed, as shown on the enclosed Shed Location Plan. The tank would befibreblass or corrugated iron, grey in colour and approximately 2 metresdiameter and 1800mm high.The tank would provide another source of water close to the shed forwashing equipment and for watering new trees and garden around the shed.

There are no easements on the land bLit there is an existing darn overflowcutting which channels excess darn water to the road channel at thesouthwest corner of the land.
There will be a new gate for access to the shed. The driveway will be keptclose to the western boundary, as shown on the enclosed Site Plan, withoutdisturbing the group of existing trees close to the boundary, see Site Plan.One of the two existing gates will be deleted.
The driveway will be 4 metres wide. Top soil along the driveway will beremoved and compacted crushed rock will be spread along the route.
Minimal vegetation will be removed during the driveway and shedconstruction. No trees will be lopped.
Also enclosed are:
• Elevations of the proposed shed showing all the relevant dimensions;and,
o Stratco shed specifications including the designed wind speed and allmaterial colours.
