The information is mainly down the left side of the page, apart from the reviews sections, which is at the bottom. This is a good way to set out the contents, as it is clear and easy to find something if you were looking for something specific. The black writing stands out against the white background, making it easy to see and read. Also, key words are in bold, which makes it even clearer to see. There is a main image which takes up most of the space of the page. This image shows the band ‘The Courteeners’ posing for a photo shoot. At the bottom of this photo, overlapping it, is the band’s name and a quote from the feature. This is aimed at fans of the band, as they would want to read the magazine to find out about them. The banner at the very top of the page includes the name of the magazine, the title ‘contents’, the issue number and date, and a website. This is all the general information that you would normally find on a contents page, but the fact that it is all in one place is helpful. The colours used include red white and black, apart from the image, and a small amount of blue. These few colours make the appearance of the page more effective, and link to the logo and name of the band ‘Q’, which is red and white.
