The medium close up of lady gagapositioned on the left hand side of the page takes up roughly one side or three columns of the double page spread, which gives the connotation that the image has significance to the article .

Lady Gaga is presented to be wearing an outfit and posing in a seductive way which would attract a predominately male audience but also a gay woman audience as well. The editors of this page in particular have ensured that this provocative image is mirrored by some sexually referenced content within the article.

The enlarged, vibrant red initial featured in the background of the text kinks not to only Lady Gaga’s alias but also the colour anchors the Q magazine house style.
