We used a variety of panningshots in our documentaryas ways of introducingnew locations or as abackground for on-screentext such as facts orinformation. In real textswe generally saw that thepans were very fast paced

and used many dierentclips after one another,creating an overall rushedpan which suits the text. Ithink our decision to usepans as slow backgroundfootage works well for ourdocumentary.

I think we used timelapseswell in our documentary,

 just like pans they weremuch slower paced thanthe ones we saw in the realtexts, this would makesense as our text focuseson a more serious subjectcompared to young

children running around aschool. gain we used thetimelapses as backdropsfor text ! allowing the paceof the text transitions tobe set by the timelapse.I"m happy with our decisionto use these timelapses.

through morale panic. Inreal texts we saw speechbubbles being used in avery similar way, I"mhappy with how oursconform to thisconvention.

We used audio extracts in a similar way to our double

page spread, #uoting important facts$statistics orcomments that would grab attention through moralepanic, this is a very similar method to real texts. %vennon-documentary radio trailers feature dramatic audioextracts in order to generate morale panic, again I"mhappy with the result of this and how it conforms to the

conventions of real texts.
