Our company has focused on the aged care sector for a number of years, recognizing the need for a specialised cleaning and maintenance service for this growing sector. At A Cleaner World we know that the work we perform has a direct effect on the environment of your residents. We ensure that our cleaning processes meet the specific needs of your facility. This is backed up by our many years' experience in the healthcare sector resulting in an understanding of all operational issues in aged care.

Our current ‘Aged Care Cleaning Standards Manual’ is one of the most comprehensive document in the market. It has taken hundreds of hours of research and development to create a fully integrated system in this sector. It covers effective infection control procedures, sustainable cleaning and laundry solutions necessary to create a safe and hygienic environment for residents, staff and visitors alike.

We have also incorporated colour coded micro fibre system which improves efficiencies, reduces OH&S risks and prevents cross contamination of infection in aged care facilities.

A Cleaner World has always invested heavily in the support structure for our cleaning staff. We have found that this is the critical element in maintaining the service requirements for each site we manage. Our current structure is designed to manage the periodical details of each contract separately from the regular cleaning crews. This keeps the daily crews focused on the essential daily and weekly tasks. Their cleaning rosters are designed in a weekly format with details for every day. This makes it clear as to when any task is to be completed. The functioning of our Property Services Department supports the cleaners and area managers to focus on day to day cleaning. None of our management crew performs hands on work, utilising trained individuals to complete the wide range of services required for B2B customers.

Service Supported By Technology A Cleaner World has invested over the past several years in technology to improve the level of service that we provide to our clients. From communication to reporting, we have understood that efficiency in processes deliver a better result to our customers.

Communications and Customer Care A Cleaner World has a communication system which is available on site that records daily requests and minor issues that requiring rectification. This communication log is normally between the Facility Manager and the onsite staff. Our assigned Area Supervisor reviews the data in the book weekly to determine any ongoing issues and if the staff has been prompt in their response. He also records the details of his visit each time he inspects the site. This model provides a permanent record of all interactions and monitoring of the site.

Our customer care approach is supported by regular customer satisfaction surveys and the following proven customer complaint follow-up process:

CleanCare Connect, our online reporting system allows the ongoing management of all sites and workers on those locations. With up to the minute reporting and monitoring, our clients receive the best of service and peace of mind. We adhere to Health and Safety legislation on all our contracted sites, as well as to the relevant Health and Safety Policies and Procedures of our clients. A Cleaner World believes in enhancing the quality of life of residents and staff. We aim to deliver outcome-based hygiene standards by using current best practices in the aged care industry. This is achieved by a combination of internal processes, external audits and the partnership that exists with our clients.

With our established Quality Management System accredited to ISO 9001 and an experienced management team, we ensure that all customer expectations are met. We comply with the international standards of ISO 14001 in Environmental Management Systems and AS/NZS 4801 in Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems. Environmental Systems A Cleaner World has made a commitment to reduce the use of chemicals, which may harm the

environment. Instead, we have chosen products that are classified as having less effect on the environment. One example of this is the use of orange oil based products instead of industrial solvent based ones. Wherever possible, we have determined to introduce the use of micro-fibre cleaning cloths to eliminate the use of detergents and chemicals. We have also introduced the use of high pressure steaming equipment,

which eliminates the use of chemicals for certain tasks. This has the added benefit of sanitizing surfaces
