If you are visiting with us today please feel free to participate. We will sing and pray to the Lord and express our

adoration and thanksgiving for all the blessings He freely gives. We will have an offering this morning and we do not

want our visitors to feel obligated in any way. There is an infant nursery located through the double doors located to

the left of the pulpit. The toddler nursery is located up the stairs in the foyer. A children’s worship is provided for

children ages 2 through 5 on the second floor which will be announced during our service. Please turn your cell

ing asked to bring items for the meals, we are asking for monetary donations to be used to purchase all the food.

Continue to remember the family of Frances Cheno-weth. Her funeral service was held last Monday. Also

remember Tom Rogers in the loss of his great-aunt, Vir-ginia Alexander; and Fred McLerran in the loss of his

great-niece; and Debbie Scott in the loss of her father-in-law, Joseph A. Scott.

Tom Doss was scheduled for colon surgery last Thurs-day. Jean Williams was hospitalized last week with breathing problems. Wayne Finn had surgery last Tuesday for a broken kneecap. tammy cowan had gall bladder surgery on Wednesday. Robin Pollard is re-covering from back surgery. Renea Price, daughter of Veachel Martin, is continuing to have serious health issues and weakness. We’ll be having our next VBS planning meeting Sunday, June 2nd, at 4 PM in the Taco Bell room and we’d love to have even more of you join us.

We need everyone’s help with VBS! VBS 2019 will be June 17-21. Listed below are some items and helpers we will be needing. The link to the online

registration is vbspro.events/p/events/southsidecoc. We will have a preschool class for our members’ children and grandchildren ages 2-4 years old. Please call the office to sign up your

preschooler!

• We will need pop-up tents for the carnival on Fri-day evening, June 21st. There is a sign up sheet on the Welcome Center bulletin board if you have tents we can borrow.

• We will be needing food items for our daily snacks and for the Friday night carnival. Those sign up sheets will be up soon!

• We will need helpers to guide the children across the street during rotations.

• We will be decorating areas of the church buildings and will be having work days. Dates coming soon!

• We will be putting the carnival up in the Family Center on Thursday afternoon, June 20th, and will needs lots of help as well as helpers to run the booths on Friday evening, June 21st.

• Volunteers! We will need help in all areas! • Judy McCutcheon will be teaching a Ladies Class

during VBS week (Monday-Thursday) from 9 to 10:15 AM. You don’t want to miss this great se-ries of lessons!
