Broadening our Horizons

At Skyway, we are always on the lookout for new

opportunities, new ventures, new products, new services and

new horizons for developing and expanding our company

and our expertise.

In 2010, we worked on a number of projects outside Ireland

and already, all the indications are that the Skyway logo will

feature on other projects in other overseas locations in 2011.

Our qualifications and our expertise are well up to

international standards. And with completed projects in

England, Scotland, Wales, Spain and Germany, we are

looking forward to expanding our horizons in the coming

year.

A Racy Story With a Happy Ending

During the Summer, Skyway were proud sponsors

of Moynalty Cycling Club Rally to raise funds for

the IHLTA. It was a super day with a happy ending

in the form of a cheque for €17,640 for the Irish

Heart and Lung Transplant Association.

Proudly Looking Up to a

Challenging Future There is no question about it, these

are challenging times for all of us. It‟s

at times like these when „quality‟ and

„service‟ are hugely important to the

welfare of a company.

These are two areas which Skyway

has always held in top priority and

over the years we have invested

heavily in developing our skills,

our products and services in these

key areas for success.

The results have been hugely positive

for both our company and our

customers alike:

Our customers have received a

quality of service which is second to

none anywhere, backed with a level of

engineering expertise and a „Safety at

Heights‟ record that we are all very

proud of.

While Skyway has continued to grow

and expand our services both at home

and overseas, our challenge for the coming

year is to continue our track record of growth

by offering our clients the best service at height

available anywhere. We feel we are ideally

positioned to meet that challenge.

East Wall, Dublin, plunged 12ft in the

accident, which happened on July 5th

It was alleged the defendants failed to

have sufficient regards for his safety and

provided a dangerous workplace.

Irish Independent – Friday 19 November 2010

Worker dies in fall from roof

A man died yesterday after falling from a

roof of a chicken plant.

The victim hadn‟t been named by last

night, pending notification of his family

and other relatives.

It is understood, however, that he is from

the West of Ireland and had been

working for the Western Brand chicken

plant in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, for a

number of years.

The scene of the accident at the company

plant at Knock Road, Ballyhaunis, was

sealed off as Gardai began a preliminary

investigation into the accident, which

occurred at around 1.50pm. The Health

and Safety Authority is also

investigating.
