Though Elizabeth changed his mind after singning Mary’s death

warrant, Bughley and the Council sent it to Fotheringay anyway.

On February 8th 1587 at Fotheringay Castle Mary, Queen of Scots,

went to the guillotine /ˈɡɪl.ə.tiːn/ and met her death.
