Queretaro, Mexico Christmas Celebration

Last Saturday, December 17th, HEXPOL Queretaro held their Christmas party for all its employees and their families. It was a great event, where employees had the chance to bring their families to the plant and share a nice meal and many entertainment activities for all ages. We had a "pastorela” which is a traditional Christmas comical play in Mexico. We also had traditional fair games, painting activities, a spa for girls, face painting, and a giant inflatable soccer field. It was a moment to celebrate Christmas, but it was also a moment to communicate all the achievements of 2016 and goals for 2017, a moment to thank our employees for the great work done this year and also a moment to recognize those employees who had outstanding performance throughout 2016. Awards like "Shift of the Year," "Outstanding Performance," "Rookie of the Year," "Excellence in Costumer Service,“ and "Keystone Award" among others, where delivered to employees as a recognition for their daily effort. This year a very special award was given to a very special person, our Managing Director, Francisco Viliesid, who will be retiring in 2017. He was given "The Pioneer Award" as a recognition for all the great things he has done in the Querétaro plant. In the future this award will be called "The Francisco Viliesid Award" and it will go to the one individual in HEXPOL México who shows that same quality of leadership, that same ability to take on risk, to weather the storm, and to be the best developer of his or her people. HEXPOL associates and their families had a great time and enjoyed the party. HEXPOL Queretaro will keep looking for ways to communicate, recognize and continue building a great place to work for all!



El pasado Sábado 17 de Diciembre, HEXPOL Querétaro tuvo su Fiesta Navideña, en la cual fueron invitados todos los empleados y sus respectivas familias. Fue un evento grandioso, donde los empleados tuvieron la oportunidad de traer a sus familias a la planta, compartir una buena comida y disfrutar de una buena variedad de actividades de entretenimiento para todas las edades. Tuvimos la tradicional Pastorela Cómica, así como juegos de feria, actividades de pintura, un spa para niñas, pintacaritas, y un inflable de cancha de futbol gigante. No sólo fue un momento para celebrar la Navidad, sino también para comunicar todos los logros de 2016 y metas del 2017, un momento para agradecer a nuestros empleados por el excelente trabajo realizado este año y para reconocer también a aquellos empleados que tuvieron un desempeño excepcional a lo largo de 2016. Premios como "Turno del Año", "Desempeño Excepcional", "Novato del Año", "Excelencia en Servicio al Cliente", "Piedra Angular", entre otros, fueron entregados a los empleados como reconocimiento a su esfuerzo diario. Este año se entregó un premio muy especial a una persona muy especial, nuestro Managing Director, Francisco Viliesid, quien se estará retirando en 2017. Se le entregó el reconocimiento al "Pionero" como reconocimiento por todo el conjunto de logros realizados en la planta de Queretaro. En el futuro, éste premio será llamado el "Reconocimiento Francisco Viliesid" e irá para aquel individuo en HEXPOL México que muestre esa misma calidad de liderazgo, esa misma capacidad para asumir riesgo, para capear el temporal, y el mejor promotor de su gente. Los empleados de HEXPOL y sus familias pasaron un rato agradable y disfrutaron la fiesta. HEXPOL Qro seguirá buscando formas de comunicar, reconocer y continuar construyendo un gran lugar para trabajar para todos.
