Simple colour schemes areusually used to keep continuity with the front coverand show a clear genre. Ihave used the colours frommy front cover, red white andyellow on both pages.
Contents pagesusually have small images on them whichlink to stories inside themagazine. I have usedone of these types ofimages.
In most contents pagesthe writing is split into columns. That is apparenton my contents page as all of the articles are in columns.
Magazines also occasionallyhave a free gift, subscriptionor competition advertisedon the contents page. I havea free gift (poster) and acompetition advertised on mycontents page.
Where the contents of a magazine are listed,there will always be a page number beforeany text. I have keptto this convention.
My contents page follows many of the basic conventions of a music magazine
