The age of people who would view our film opening would be aged 15-24 year olds.

Our actor is 16, however the character we believe is quite a bit older as we establish in our shots that he has a young family. (wife & a young daughter.)

Our production challenges the stereotype that young children shouldn’t do certain things alone such as taking baths, however in our opening hope is seen in a bath that’s running with the door locked.

Gender Our production supports the stereotype that the

male figure is higher and has power over the female and are emotionally stronger, because of the high and low angle shots and the fact that the mum turns to alcohol

It also confirms the stereotype that women stay at home, cook and look after the children whilst the men go out to work.

Ethnicity

Our characters are white British, as people from different ethnicities such as a black or an Asian family aren’t normally seen in horror films.
