Question Six:

-What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Are there any examples of the technology obstructing or limiting you through the creative process?

I am a very competent Photoshop user therefore this made producing my

magazine a lot easier for me as I didn’t need to learn how to use a new tool. I feel this contributed to making my

magazine look more professional as I know some more advanced techniques.

I am very used to using SLR cameras for other A-level courses therefore I didn’t have to spend any time

learning how to use them. This gave me more time to

work on the aesthetics of my magazine.

I was able to set the camera to the most affective settings when taking my photos for

my magazine.

I have never used this website before. This made it slightly difficult when trying to create my blog because I

wasn’t 100% sure what I was doing however it is very simple to use and didn’t take

very long to learn.

Can you provide examples of technology allowing you to do things that extended your creative control?

This programme allowed me to have complete creative control over the production of my magazine. And way I visualised my pages to look I was able to achieve it by

the wide variety of tools this programme provides.

Having the ability to use professional cameras made

it easier when taking my pictures as I was able to get high quality photos. The fast

shutter speed on these cameras also meant that I

could get my model to move whilst I was taking the

picture.

This website did not given me creative control. It simply allowed me to keep track of

my progress through this project.
