What have you learnt about the conventions of magazine productions and what progress have you made from the

student mag ?

By looking at different magazines, I was able to learn about the importance of different conventions, one being the model looking directly at the camera which allows the audience to know of the models importance. Also I learnt about the headlines which summarizes the main article on the front cover. In addition to that I was able to learn about mastheads, banners, issue date & sell lines.

Think about every aspect of both productions and scrutinize every decision you made ?

I have made a lot of progress from my student magazine, as I was able to include more conventions of a magazine and learnt Photoshop skills allowing my front cover and contents to be more developed

In my magazine, I was able to develop many skills and techniques to apply to the final front cover; the sell lines are now all in the place, I also learnt how to add banners and buttons to my page

Think about the production as a journey from the initial sketching to the final product ?

o I began with one initial plan which I then changed to start with, I was going to make a grime magazine however I then found it very difficult to research the genre so I changed to RnB and began to plan my magazine and make it using adobe Photoshop by the time I got to my final product I had been through various stages of research and planning and I did planned out my dps and contents then made them

What have others said about your magazine since you finished it?

o Anna Agyemang – You finally product looks good and looks quality with a great finish.

o Dayana Collazos Ibarra – Your product was a late bloomer but it does now look like a real magazine cover

o Jefferson Okoro – Ryan your coursework looks good and you seem to have finished the magazine which is of a high quality
