God really, really wants to be with us.But sin separates us from God.

Do you want to invite Jesus into your life?

Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross to take our punishment?

1) Invite the child to sincerely pray for forgiveness and for Jesus to come into his/her life.

2) Saying this prayer sincerely means:

• You are truly sorry for all the wrong things you have done

• You truly believe that Jesus took the punishment for your sins

• You truly want to start a relationship with Jesus to help you turn from all the wrong things you have done and do what is right

Would you like to be with God in heaven?

What do you think heaven is like?

Would you like to have a relationship with God?1) Because our sins can be forgiven, we can be with God.

2) We can now have a relationship with God.

• We can become children of God

• We can call God our Father

3) We can one day be with God in heaven.

• Heaven is a wonderful place • There is no sickness, no pain

and no hunger • No one ever dies • Everyone is perfectly happy

4) Heaven is not a place we can run to. There’s only one way we can be with God in heaven…

When do we celebrate Jesus’ birth?

Do you know who Jesus is?1) So God sent his son, Jesus, to earth.

• Jesus was a man who was different from any other person

• Jesus is God and never sinned

2) Jesus came from heaven to earth to take the punishment for our sins.

• Instead of us being punished, he took our place

• Jesus died on the cross so that all the wrong things that we have done can be forgiven

• And on the third day, Jesus became alive again

What were some of the things you have done that may have made God unhappy?

Do you know what “sin” means?1) God loves us very much and wants us to be with him.

2) But because all of us have sinned, we are separated from God.

1) The most special thing he created was you and me.

2) God loves us very much!

1 John 1:9But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done.

John 1:12But to all who did accept him and believe in him he gave the right to become children of God.

Rev 21:4He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death, sadness, crying, or pain.

Rev 21:21The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate having been made from a single pearl. And the street of the city was made of pure gold as clear as glass.

John 3:16God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life.

Rom 5:8But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners.

Acts 13:30, 31But God raised him up from the dead! After this, for many days, those who had gone with Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem saw him.

Isa 59:2(Good NewsTranslation)It is because of your sins that he doesn’t hear you. It is your sins that separate youfrom God when you try to worship him.

Rom 3:23Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard.

Rom 6:23The payment for sin is death.

Gen 1:27So God created human beings in his image. In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female.
