Electrical suppJy junction box should belocated 3 inches (7.6 cm} maximum below thesupport surface when oven is installed in awall cabinet. Drill a 1-inch minimum (2.5 cm}diameter hole in the right rear or left rearcorner of the support surface to pass theappliance cable through to the junction box.For undercounter installation, it isrecommended that the junction box belocated in the adjacent right or left cabinet. Ifinstalling the junction box on rear wall behindoven, junction box must be recessed andlocated in the upper or lower right or leftcorner of cabinet.

Preparation

Excessive Weight Hazard

Important: Use both hands to remove ovendoors.

Do Not use handle or any portion of the frontframe or trim for lifting.Before moving oven across floor, check thatoven is on shipping base or slide oven ontocardboard or hardboard.

Grasp outside edges of door with both hands.Begin closing door, at the moment the doorstops closing, lift and puii door toward you.Set door aside on a protective surface.

3u Remove trim screws attaching right

and left side trim to oven. Grasp the bottomend of trim and pull away from oven. Slidetop end of trim downward to remove trimfrom oven. Take care not to scratch othersurfaces with ends of trim. Set trim andscrews aside on protected surface.

This oven is manufactured with white {neutral)power supply wire and a cabinet=connected baregrounding wire twisted together.

Feed oven cable through opening inthe cabinet. Make electrical connection

following the steps needed for your installation.

1. Disconnect the power supply.2. Remove the junction box cover.3. Connect oven cable to junction box through the

U.L.-listed conduit connector.4. Connect the two black wires together with

twist-on connectors.5. Connect the two red wires together with

twist-on connectors.6. Complete electrical connection according to

local codes and ordinances.

7. Connect the factory-crimpedbare and white oven cable wiresto the neutral (white) wire injunction box. See Figure 1.

7. Separate the factory-crimped bare and whiteoven cable wires.

8. Connect white ovencable wire to neutral(white) wire in junctionbox. See Figure 2.

9. Connect the baregrounding oven cablewire to a grounded wirein the junction box. SeeFigure 2.

10. Replace junction boxcover.

Slide top end of each trim upward ontooven side rails. Push each trim into place atbottom of trim. Use screws to attach each trim tooven. Take care not to scratch other surfaces withends of trim.

Push against seal area of front frame topush oven into cabinet until shipping feetalmost contact cabinet. Use a Phillipsscrewdriver to remove screws attachingshipping feet. Remove and discard shippingfeet.

Push oven completely into cabinet andcenter oven in cabinet cutout.

m important: Securely fasten oven tocabinet using the screws provided (twoscrews for a single oven or four screws for adouble oven). Insert the screws through hobsin mounting rails. Do Not overtighten screws.

g m Reinstall the oven door by inserting

ends of hinges into hinge slots in the ovenframe. Push hinges in as far as theywill go.Open the door (you will feel the door dropinto place) and rotate both hinge latchesback to the locked position.

Close and open the door to check that thedoor closes and opens completely, if doordoes not dose or open completely, repeatthe door removal step and reinstall door asdescribed above.

Repeat for lower oven door.

Check operation

Turn on power supply. Thedisplay panel wiii light up briefly. "PF"should appear in the temperature display.

Check the operation of your single oven.Press the "BROIL" pad. "BROIL" will appearin the display. Press the "START" pad.

Make sure the oven door is closed and the"ON" light is shown in the display area. After2 minutes, partially open oven door. Youshould feel heat from the oven. Press the"CANCEL" pad.

Check the operation of your double oven.Press the "Upper Oven" pad. Pressthe"BROIL" pad. "BROIL" will appear in thedisplay. Pressthe "START" pad. Make surethe oven door is closed and the "ON" light isshown in the display area. After 2 minutes,partially open oven door. You should feel heatfrom the oven. Press the "CANCEL" pad.

Press the "Lower Oven" pad and repeat thesteps you completed for checking the upperoven.
