Use this document to review the QuickSpec application.

QuickPack Home Page

1. Click the tab to go to the QuickSpec Start screen.

QuickSpec Start

From this screen, you can generate specifications for Generators or Transfer Switches.

2. As required, click to select options in the following fields:

Field Name R/O/C Description

Fuel Type: R Fuel Type Example: Diesel

Frequency: R Frequency Example: 60 Hz

UL-2200: R UL-2200 Example: Required

EPA Certified Engine: R Environmental Protection Agency certified engine Example: Required

IBC Certified R International Building Code certified Example: Required

3. Click to go to the Model Configuration screen.

4. As required, click to select options in the following fields:

Greyed-out fields are required.

5. In the Accessories section, select next to the desired accessories.

6. As required, complete/review the following fields in the Circuit Breakers section:

7. Click to validate for conflicts.

Conflicting selections are highlighted in grey. Click and select an option which is not greyed-out.

10. In the *Job Name: field, enter a descriptive job name. Example: QuickSpec Test

12. In the Spec Printing Options section, click next to the desired options.

You have options for the type of specification you wish to generate.

13. Click in the Spec Version field.

You have the option of printing a Long Spec, a Short Spec in table format or a Short Spec in paragraph format. All specifications are generated as described in previous step. Following is an example of the appearance of a short spec in paragraph format compared to a long spec.

• In the Status field, the quote status changes to, “Quote Requested.”

• The system sends a quote request to your local distributor.

You have completed this transaction. You have reviewed the QuickSpec application.
