Summer Clean Up

KSARA is the Residents Association for people living in Canning Street, Fireman’s Walk, King Street, Kings Court, King Charles Court, Kings Buildings, Pemberton Road and Water Tower Street. Its purpose is to bring neighbours together to create a strong, friendly and active community.

Sun shines on mid-summer party We would like to say a massive thanks to Jade for arranging and organizing the summer street party which took place on Saturday 14th July 2018. Thanks also go to the residents of the court yard for the use of their space. It was great to see lots of old and new faces at this event which was enjoyed by many residents.

Enjoyable time had by all at the street party with lots of lovely food & drinks

On behalf of the community we would like to give a big thank you to all the residents who have worked hard this summer keeping our area looking spick and span.

Our streets and driveways have been weeded, litter has been collected and disposed of and flower beds planted.

Thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets raising £90 for the Resident’s Association at the Summer Forum held on Sunday 17th June 2018. Residents enjoyed a glass of fizz at the event held at the Garret Bar in Storyhouse.

Water Tower Street repairs Potholes reported by the committee earlier in the year have now been filled on Water Tower Street, Pemberton Road & outside Kings Buildings.

THE KSARA CARD IS BEING LAUNCHED IN OCTOBER FOR ALL KSARA RESIDENTS; IT WILL BE

AVAILABLE AT THE QUIZ NIGHT OR ON REQUEST FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS.

The idea behind the KSARA card was for local residents to support local businesses who in turn support the residents which in turn keeps our community thriving.

We have approached several local businesses and these are the offers which we are launching the KSARA card with. Our plan is to continue to build and add to the great offers we have already secured. The KSARA card must be shown before purchase and only residents who have one will be able to redeem the offers. A voluntary donation to the Residents Association fund can be made in exchange for the card should you wish.
