Start by signing up on the QUIZIZZ website.
You need to provide a username and a password to sign up.

With Quizizz you can…
• Create your own quiz
• Find a ready-made quiz about the topic you want
• Play the quiz live in the classroom using modern technology
• Give the quiz for homework and get live updates on your device
• Issue students’ reports for either classwork or homework

Creating a new Quiz -
• Step 1: ENTER QUIZ
NAME
• Step 2: ADD QUIZ

the quiz theme.
• Step 3: Choose
the LANGUAGE
• Step 4: SAVE and
proceed to the
next page ( Leave
‘Align to state
standards’ empty)

Adding questions –
• There are two
ways to add
questions to
your new quiz.
• Step 5: You can
choose
between -
CREATE NEW
QUESTION
(create your
own questions)
or SEARCH FROM
EXISTING
QUESTIONS
(choose
questions from
ready-made
quizzes of other
members).
• Step 6: You can
choose whether
you want your
quiz to be
PUBLIC. This
means that your quiz will be available to every member of Quizizz.

If you choose the CREATE NEW QUESTION option follow the instructions below…
• A: Enter the
QUESTION TITLE (you
can add an image
near the title).
• B: Insert the ANSWER
OPTIONS (you can
make 2 or more
answer options).
• C: Select the TIME
for answering the
question (from 5
secs. to 15 mins.).
• D: Select the
CORRECT ANSWER/S
(click on the left of
the answer).
• E: If you have more
than 1 correct
answer for your
question choose
between SINGLE
ANSWER and MULTI-
SELECT from top right.
• On the right of the figure above you can see the preview of your question. If ready SAVE and proceed to the
next page and repeat the same procedure for all questions you want to insert.

• If you want to SEARCH FROM EXISTING QUESTIONS first repeat steps 1 to 6 as explained above.
• Then search for the quiz/questions you need. In our example we will search for questions related to
Valletta.

• If you search for questions related to VALLETTA, this is the result page you will get.
• Choose a quiz from the list of quizzes to see/add the questions you need.
• These quizzes were made public by their creators for every member. You can use and edit these quizzes
as you like.

• To add question for your new/existing quiz you need to CHOOSE a quiz from the results and ADD the
question you want.
• You can add as many questions as you like from different quizzes.

One QUESTION 1 was added to the quiz titled KNIGHTS OF MALTA! (see screenshot below)
You can continue searching for new questions repeating the same procedure, adding the ones you wish to your
new quiz. Remember that the questions selected can be edited. When you are ready click on FINISH QUIZ and
it will be added to your quizzes. Otherwise you can EXIT and continue whenever you want. The quiz will be saved
as a draft in your quizzes. Please note that once you opt to finish the quiz it can still be edited later.

Ready-made quizzes -
• You can also search from ready-made quizzes from the home page. After you log in, click on the tab
FIND A QUIZ on the left side of the page.
• Then you can SEARCH FOR QUIZZES ON ANY TOPIC or select the topic you wish. In our case we selected
to search a quiz about HISTORY. You can use and edit any quiz that is available on quizizz.com.

When you want to play a quiz you can choose between three options.
LIVE GAME – Ideal for students to play together in class. It can be used as a classwork activity.
HOMEWORK GAME – Set a deadline and students/participants can play it anywhere before the stipulated date.
PLAY SOLO – Lets you play a quiz on your own. You’ll will receive a game summary after you finish.

You can also SHARE, EDIT, DUPLICATE, PRINT and DELETE your quiz.
The screen shot below shows the options you have when you decide to SHARE your quiz.

If you want to see the report about the quiz you played go to the REPORTS tab on the left of the home page.
You can also see the report of quizzes you played in the past. Moreover, you can see a report for each
student, questions review or else you can send an email to the parents/guardians informing them with their
child’s result.
