    Water Supply and Sanitation in Hard to ReachAreas and People Remain a Challenge

    Areas having poor water supply and sanitation coverage dueto adverse hydro-geological conditions, having poor andinadequate communication network, and areas sufferingfrom frequent natural calamities are referred to as hard toreach (HtR) areas; and people who do not have any fixedplace for living (floating population) are called hard toreach (HtR) people.
