Canvas and Leather handbags made by military spouses from upcycled materials. R. Riveter was created to provide mobile and flexible income to military spouses. The one of a kind handbag company was born out of a mix of frustration, passion, and creativity and designed to help chip away at the heart of military spouse employment woes. Manufacturing, an increasingly technical and outsourced process, for R. Riveter, has become a renaissance of the American dream stitched together and embedded in our hand dyed leather and canvas bags and accessories.TRANSCRIPT

The R. Riveter PURPLE HEART EDITION
honors our service members awarded the Purple Heart. The Purple Heart is awarded to U.S. service
members who are wounded by an instrument of war in the hands of the enemy or to the next of kin in the
name of those who are killed in action.
A portion of proceeds from each handbag sold in the Purple Heart color combination will be donated to the Military Order of the Purple Heart. The organization
was formed in 1932 for the protection and mutual interest of all who have received the decoration.
