TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. The promoter is Rolls-Royce plc, registered in England under company 01003142, whose registered office is at 62 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AT (“the promoter”).

2. Employees of Rolls-Royce plc or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

3. Applicants must have a minimum age of 18.

4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via http://careers.rolls-royce.com/raceyourcode/raceinstructions

6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

7. Rolls-Royce reserves the right to close the competition at any point, after which no further entries will be permitted.

8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received.

9. The rules of play are set out at in the instructions.

10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

12. In accordance with the rules of play described in the instructions a series of races will be held to identify the four contestants whose robot pairs complete the laps in the shortest time. The fastest four competitors will receive an additional 45 minutes and three lap run. The fastest robot pair to complete three laps without being disqualified will win. The running order for the final races will be: 4th Fastest competitor goes first, 3rd Fastest competitor second, 2nd Fastest competitor third and the fastest competitor last. The top three winners will be the fastest three out of the Final runs and will receive a trophy.

13. The winners will be notified by the email address or telephone number supplied.

14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters relating to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

16. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

17. Each winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitch, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to Rolls-Royce plc and not to any other party. 19. Assignment of intellectual property rights is to Rolls Royce and Frobotics.
