Procyon+ is an EN54-20 certified protection system for automatic detection and extinguishing of fi-res inside electrical enclosures. It provides double detection using aspiration (detecting fire at smoke emission stage). It samples the air in the enclosure, and analyses it in its two high-sensitivity measu-rement chambers. The first analysis chamber detects the fire before any damaging flames appear,

and the second confirms the fire. The neutral extinguishing agent (argon and nitrogen) is discharged quickly and reduces the oxygen level in the enclosure until the fire is extinguished. As well as provi-

ding local audible and visual warnings, the Procyon+ system can be connected via Ethernet to a site’s control and data acquisition system or to a centralized building management system. Don’t miss out
