The concept of upgrading your life, ministry, work, relationship with God should always be the in forefront of

your mind. There should never be a time when you become satisfied with the status quo or being mediocre.

As a believer you should be striving to go beyond where you are, so you can perform at a higher level of

greatness. The Bible speaks extensively about the idea of greatness and being great. Matthew 20:26 Jesus

says "But it shall be so among you: but whosever will be great among you, let him be your minister." Minis-

ter-Greek word diakonos-one who executes the command of another. So the person that is great, is the one

who executes the command of another. Jesus executed the command of God the Father. Soldiers execute

the command of their superior officer. Servants execute the command of the King. So it shall be with us. If

you want to be great surrender yourself and execute the command of Jesus Christ. Being an obedient serv-

ant is the way to achieving greatness. As a pastor I have come to learn the more I serve somebody else and

do as God commands the closer I come to greatness. So I say to you, if you want to be great surrender your-

self and serve God.
