Kamloops sale, Tuesday July 5, 2016. Lighter summertime
receipts today as 150 head of cattle hit the sale ring.
The Dixon Creek Ranch put the very top on our butcher
trade with 2045 lb butcher bulls marking 134.50.
Bill Armstrong from Salmon Arm saw their 1815 lb
Butcher Bulls mark 128.00, with their 1550 lb cows to 94.50.
Brian Foley & Louise Demarni had 1530 lb cows mark
92.50. Paul Demarni with 1490 lb cows marking 94.50.
Brian Foley Jr. with heavy 1665 lb cows tracking 95.00.
John Harrison had 1440 lb cows top 96.00.
Feeder cattle were insufficient in number to quote prices.
Next Kamloops sale, Tuesday July 19th. 300 head listed now.
Some big sales coming up as William’s Lake next sale,
Thursday July 21st, Wade and Wilf will have 150 pairs plus
250 butcher cows and bulls.
Vanderhoof sale is also building into a very good sale for Fri-
day July 22nd. Decody & Al are thinking 400 head of cattle
for their sale.

BC Livestock is currently seeking a part time worker . Must be physically fit as the general duties are as follows. Moving sorting, and processing cattle (offloading, loading,
branding, tagging, etc.)
General maintenance of the cattle yards, including clean up
of pens, adding new bedding, and shoveling.
Unload and load cattle handling equipment ( gates, panels,
cattle guards )
Handling other inventories ( mineral tubs, shavings, animal
health products).
