The Drive & Motion Control Unit di Gefran, based in
Gerenzano (Varese, Italy), designs, develops and manu-
factures electric drives and power regeneration systems

industrial sectors, including: plastics, civil lift engineering,
water treatment and ventilation, as well as control architec-
tures for renewable energy systems.

The RADIUS System rangeTurnkeycabinetsolutions
GEFRAN provides complete cabinet-mounted solutions ready for connection to the distribution grid and designed to house parallel electrical panels, inverters, medium voltage transformers, low voltage panels and medium voltage cells with circuit breaker, interface protection and other acces-sories.
The housing is suitable for permanent outdoor installation and is designed and built to be transported and set in place using a vehicle equipped with hoisting equipment.
Air-conditioned cabinets are also available upon request, to enable faster elimination of condensation. However, all components receive adequate natural ventilation, especially the transformer, so that they do not exceed the maximum overtemperatures that are allowed.
Plug&play installationThe cabinet structure is easy to transport and install directly at the site. This avoids the need for on-site assembly and makes installation much quicker.
Cost reductionThis solution is designed to guarantee maximum energy efficiency without the need for air conditioning with outside temperatures of up to 50°C. Air-conditioned cabinets are however available upon request. These include a specific air conditioning unit for each inverter and are recommended when installed in particularly hot places to prevent power limitations due to eternal overtemperatures. Air condition-ing functions include: free cooling, cooling, anti-condensa-tion.
Modularity and flexibilityA modular solution with possible power upgrades up to a maximum of four 330 kW inverters. Optional accessories are also available to configure systems to meet the full range of customer requirements.
AccessibilityCabinets are supplied as turnkey solutions and are specifi-cally designed to ensure access to all internal components and inverters, to facilitate inspection and servicing.

WARRANTY terms and conditionsProducts to be replaced must be returned in their original packaging or in other adequate or equivalent packaging. GEFRAN will bear all costs relating to the materials and transport charges in order to replace all or part of the cabi-net.
In case of assistance provided directly by our technical staff, work may be performed at GEFRAN's works or on-site at the customer's premises. GEFRAN guarantees assistance within a short time of receiving the written request.

Service contracts (Warranty extension and Rou-tine maintenance) are initially valid for one year and can be extended to cover the entire product lifetime.

Maintenance contractHigh-level efficiency can only be guaranteed by servicing the plant regularly and maintaining the conditions in place at the time of installation.
The maintenance contract includes a yearly inspection or online check, on a date agreed upon in advance with the customer, to make sure that each single component is in perfect working order.
Quality checks are performed once a year and include a general overhaul and replacement of any worn or critical parts to prevent the risk of future malfunctioning. Detailed records are kept of all work that is performed and any re-pairs are noted in the service report.
Warranty Extension ContractThe extended warranty gives you the chance to extend the manufacturer's warranty. This cover offers the best value for money, as it includes unlimited assistance, even after the end of the warranty period. All you have to do is call.
The contract includes an emergency service following re-ceipt of the written request for technical assistance.
The extended warranty is only available when start-up is performed by RADIUS Solar Service.

RADIUS SOLAR SERVICE:
RADIUS Energy Non-Stop ContractGEFRAN agrees to assume full liability for any loss of energy production due to reduced or loss of RADIUS inverter efficiency.
Should we be unable to provide the service within the term as specified in the contract, we will refund the entire incentive tariff for each hour for which the service is delayed after the first 48 hours (2 days).
Periodical maintenance is always recommended, as this can help to prevent faults and thus avoid machine downtimes that result in energy production shortfalls.
