Aligned interest rates on Retail loans with the market ( Housing,

Vehicle, Personal, Canara Mortgage and Canara Rent).

Introduced new product variants like Loan Against Property,

Home Loan Plus for housing loan borrowers, overdraft under Swarna

Scheme, Canara Consumer Loan..

Empowered field functionaries with adequate sanctioning powers.

Stream lining the working of Retail Asset Hubs for quick delivery.

Delinking of Vehicle Loan sanctions from RAHs.

Provision of adequate staff to RAHs including Marketing Officers. Identified 1000 branches with high Retail potential – envisaged

growth of Rs.10 Crores / Rs.20 Crores / Rs.30 Crores.

Wide publicity for retail products – through print & electronic media,

wall paintings, Airport trolleys, TV Scrolls, pamphlets, posters and

banners.

Monitoring and close follow-up of leads conversion at Wing and Circle l

Level.

Policy framed for payment of Builder and Dealer incentives in tune with

market.

Incentive linked campaigns for retail products i.e VIJETA series

Launched, (specially Home loans and Car loans).

Direct Marketing teams at HO/ Circle/ RAH and select Retail focus

branches for sourcing business.

Tie up for Retail business for all Corporate clients.

Vide publicity through Retail camps and Exhibitions across the country

all over Major centres.

Close monitoring of performance of RAHs and Circles.

Popularising the Camp approach for sanction and disbursement of

Retail loans .

Continuous policy changes in Retail Schemes in tune with market

conditions.

Increasing tie up with Builders and Dealers and also with Automobile

manufacturers.

Permitting packages for corporate and Govt. Employees with liberal concessions in Retail Schemes.

market share.• Having large builders and dealers tie up.• Effective utilisation and close monitoring of Marketing Officers.• Quick Disposal of applications received through OLTS .
