Our Athletics Carnival on Thursday was a great success and I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible. Well done to all of our students who braved the chilly morning, participating enthusiastically in all of the field and track events. The sun shone throughout the day, helping to dry out the grass and warm up our toes and fingers. The P&C made sure that plenty of food and refreshments were available and many hands made light work, both setting and packing up in record time! We couldn't have asked for

a better day. As you drive past the school this week you will notice that we have an important message on our sign board. We are currently focussing on the importance of “Sleep and Breakfast”. We are hoping that this will help remind our families just how essential it is for children to have a good night's sleep, followed by a healthy and energising breakfast each morning. Just like a car, our bodies need fuel to get to where we need to go, they need to be maintained and cared for if we want to get the very best out of them each day. This Thursday and Friday, I will be attending a principal’s meeting and Miss Gleeson will be relieving principal during my absence. Have a great week… Kerry-Sue Pascoe Principal
