Raise a Glass to Hunger Relief

Michigan has one of the best beer scenes in the country. But we don’t need to tell you that — you helped make it that way. Unfortunately, Michigan is above average in another way: Nearly 1.5 million Michiganders are struggling with hunger.

That’s why Michigan’s food banks are joining forces with local breweries and restaurants to raise money for hunger relief through the Hops Against Hunger campaign.

In 2016 we raised more than $20,000. Our goal is to double that in 2017 and we need your help.

$1 Per PintKeep it simple. Designate a Hops Against Hunger beer and donate $1 for every pint you sell. Do it for a week, a month, all year — it’s up to you.

BenefitsLocal Impact A partnership with your local Feeding America-member food bank means you’ll provide good food to your struggling neighbors.

Goodwill Hunger relief is a cause that unites everyone. By supporting your local food bank, you’ll boost your reputation as a force for good in your community.

Team Building Foster camaraderie and a sense of shared purpose by rallying your crew around a meaningful cause.

Publicity Together, the seven Feeding America-member food banks in Michigan command a vast audience online and in traditional media. Your name and logo will be featured on HopsAgainstHungerMI.org and your involvement will be promoted by your local food bank.

Collateral Order T-shirts, table-tents, and coasters to promote your involvement with Hops Against Hunger. Pricing can be arranged with your local food bank.

Pack-the-Pub NightDonate a percentage of beer sales on a single day. One-day events create a sense of urgency to drive up attendance.

Hunger Action MonthJoin a massive statewide push this September. Month-long $1 Per Pint promotions are encouraged to ensure a unified message.
