SKILL COURSE PROVIDED THROUGH IEDC
Additional Skill Acquisition Programme is a part of the State Skill Development
Programme, a Joint venture of Department of Higher Education, General Education,
Labour and Local Self Government, to increase the skilled manpower in the state. ASAP
has embarked on a journey To impart training with the objective of building a platform
for the skilled personnel with Appropriate skills, in line with the requirements of the
industry. Being aware of the sweeping Changes in the labour market, ASAP aims at
creating a new generation of educated and skilled Personnel who fills this vacuum. This
year, ASAP intends to widen its network by adding more Institutions to its wing. As a
part of this process Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology is all set to start
Advanced skill Development Centre for providing skill courses to our students. The
courses are
Coding Skills
Employability of engineering students is a matter of great concern now. Lack of
coding skills matching industry standards is a major factor contributing to the poor
employability of technical students. Coding is mostly taught as an academic topic,
whereas it is a skill to be acquired. To close the skill gap among engineering students in
this area ASAP in association with industry has developed a state of the art coding skills
curriculum that is based on the 10 core skills of the WHO that equips a person to fit into
any professional environment.
The life skills based coding skills curriculum not only addresses programming but also
covers fundamental aspects such as design thinking, logical thinking, programming,
community linking, design of software, project development, and industry leader’s
interaction and Hackathon. The contents for the coding skill is developed by ASAP
Curriculum. The course is organized in a structured format focusing on classroom
activities and interactive games to accelerate and improve the efficiency of teaching
learning process. Staring from developing foundation skills for coding the approach
focuses on design thinking and agile perspective of Software design.
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
The fast evolving world of technology is dominating work places like never
before. Fourth generation industry is already here and is placing heavy demand upon
the education system. Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Block Chains, Virtual
Reality and Cloud based computing have already become a norm in the industry rather
than an exception. There is an urgent need for the technical education system to
prepare its graduates for the future industry that demand new skill sets and
competencies.
ASAP has started an initiative to cover the skill gap of engineering graduates through
Advanced Skill Development Center. ASDC acquaints the students with various
futuristic skill courses like Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Data analytics etc.
Artificial Intelligence is the development of computer systems that are able to perform
tasks that would require human intelligence. Machine learning is an application of
Artificial Intelligence that gives machines the ability to learn and improve without the
help of humans or new programming.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning (AIM) is an emerging area of great interest
nowadays. This gives rise to an open opportunity for the engineering students,
graduates and working professionals of Kerala. It may be achieved by providing AI & ML
specific courses to them. ASAP , in collaboration with IIT Madras, IIT Palakkad and
College of Engineering Trivandrum developed the curriculum for AI & ML course. The
certification for the course will be provided by IIT Madras.
TCS iON Industry Honour Certification Programme
Need For Industry Honour Certification Programme
• Industry inputs on trending topics across sectors blended with academic
sessions is a strong need for academia

prepare students well for the future
• Industry participation in acknowledging the student proficiency through a
certification will be a boost for
• Institution, Industry and the student The institution credence gains significantly
for offering a strong industry integration with academia.
Robotic Process Automation Developer
UiPath - Robotic Process Automation Developer About the Course Robotic Process
Automation is the technology that allows anyone today to configure computer software,
or a “robot” to emulate and integrate the actions of a human interacting within digital
systems to execute a business process. RPA robots utilize the user interface to capture
data and manipulate applications just like humans do. They interpret, trigger responses
and communicate with other systems in order to perform on a vast variety of repetitive
tasks. Only substantially better: an RPA software robot never sleeps, makes zero
mistakes and costs a lot less than an employee.
HERE Map & Location Technology.
Objective To build skilled community of technical graduates (Civil Engineering,
CS/IT) learners in the field of Maps and Location technology.HERE to provide
online/offline curriculum, workshop training, video links/mapathon initiatives for
learners / skill trainees to enrol and participate in HERE community and get up skilled
on HERE tools technology in participation with State Skill Mission and Higher Education
Dept and foster with continuous engagements towards Students enrichment.
community programme Focuses on training and empowering young talent pool in
various skills to make them job competent Promote learning through up skilling by
introducing map and location-based content on HERE tools
Google Cloud focused Career
As part of its student-focused skilling initiative, Google Cloud has launched a
student-focused Cloud Engineer Career Readiness Program. The program offers market-
ready curriculum to help students from higher education institutions achieve industry
readiness by completing the Associate Cloud Engineer Certification. The program is
being extended to a select few higher education institutions in India, including yours.
We would love to work with you to enlist and enrol students from your institution and
help them leverage the benefits of this global program.
