MARK YOUR CALENDAR Church Wide Retreat at Bonclarken
October 14-16, 2016
First ARP Friends and Supporters,
Thanks for your support as we approach our 3 year anniversary as a mission church, September 15th!
Pray for our outreach event on September 10th at Riverwalk. We will have a table at the 3rd annual Tawbafest.
Pray for our Winthrop Convocation outreach on Monday, August 22.
We are always praying and willing to share our vision with those who are willing to partner with us in growing RiverCrossing Church. Let me know if you would like to get together to hear about our vision for reaching new people as we continue to plant the Gospel in eastern York County.
Thanks for praying! We invite you to be our guest.

Are you interested in going to Madrid?
August 1st is the deadline for committing to the July 2017 Spain Mission trip and paying the $200 deposit. The people of Madrid are in a
very dark and spiritually hopeless place, and they need to hear the Good News of the Gospel.
Prayerfully consider if God is calling you to
serve Him in Spain.

Beginning in October, we will move to a digital newsletter and
only mail copies to those who have specifically requested it.
Because of this, we will need your email address to send out the
newsletter. If you are receiving Connie’s weekly update email,
then you are on our list. If not, please contact our front office.
Thank you, First ARP Staff
Members and Friends,
In an effort to be good stewards
with all that God has given us, we are
moving to a digital-only newsletter.
However, we certainly want to make
accommodations for everyone within the
life of our church. If you do not have
access, or would still like to receive a
paper copy of the newsletter, please
contact our front office by
September 30th.

iServe News
On Wednesday, July 13, eight sweet children and five volunteers came to the church to show
appreciation to those who serve and protect us. We baked brownies and made cards for our police
officers and delivered them warm from the oven to the station. While there, we enjoyed a "backstage tour" of the police department, met Chief Watts, and told him and many officers THANK YOU for all
they do for our community.
After our tour, we walked to the Library and enjoyed a wonderful puppet show about the
adventures of Anasi the spider. Thank you to our wonderful children and assistants who gave their
afternoon to share Christ's love:
Blythe, Rev and Jeanie Alexander; Pressly Dozier; Lydia and Miriam Ghent; Reid and Lois Kirkpatrick;
Brady Nowicki; Roe Roach; and Anne Sanders, Emmie and Connie Kiser.
