Rancho News From the Principal's Desk Principal's Message We are off to another incredible year of fun and learning at Rancho Sienna Elementary. As Principal of RSE, my goal is always to meet the needs of all students so that each and every child feels valued, challenged, and loved as they strive to meet personal goals in learning. How does yourchild get home?Please take a minute tofamiliarize yourself with thevarious means of afternoondismissal posted on ourwebpage. Keeping consistentafternoon dismissal, willsupport your child in feelingsafe and con�dent at theend of each day. If it isnecessary to request atransportation change,please visit our districttransportation site . Allchanges must be made byemail before 1pm on the dayof the change. Need to know a bus routenumber, time or location.Info�nder has the answersyou need!

Arrival andDismissal SafetySafety is our �rst priority.Cell phones in school zonesand in car lines is not onlyagainst the law, it puts ourkids and staff at risk. Yourcooperation is needed andappreciated. Please do not park at or nearcrosswalks as it blocks ourability to see oncomingtra�c and creates a hazardfor crossing guards andstudents crossing the street. The �rst few days of schoolare exciting for everyone. Weoften have 2-3 times thenumber of cars dropping offand picking up than the restof the year. Thanks for yourpatience as work throughthese �rst few days. Wehope the excitement remainsbut the long lines diminish.

We need you!We will have lots ofopportunities to get involvedthis year. Be a volunteer! Get startedby completing the volunteerapplication online. It must beupdated every school year. Join our PTO! Kinder Meet the Teacher - Monday, August 19 5-6:30Kinder parents are invited to come and meet your child's placement teacher for the year and learnabout their special classroom. The campus Admin team will also be there to share some importantinformation about school systems and learn more from you about your needs for the year. Please planto attend for the entire time.
