Rafael Flores Ramirez, better known as Mr. Raphy Flores ‘”Erre

Effe“, was born on 18. October in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.

At the age of 9 years he started his first artistic activities as a dancer at various

events, supported and promoted by his parents.

He improved continuously his artistic talent motivated by the enthusiastic applause

of the audience.

He loved to perform and to impress people with his dance and rhythms.

Raphy was impressed and inspired by Michael Jackson and became a very good

imitator. Soon several TV channels became aware of him and offered him various

roles as an actor.

He was acting in children's musicals such as "Peter Pan", "Rockolandia 3" and

"The Magic Turroncito". He received rave reviews from leading Artists Agencies

and theater critics.

He was an artistic prodigy of his time through various roles in TV dramas and

series, including one of the most well-known "Que Angelitos".

During High School he made a name for himself by imitating famous artists of

dance and music, for example, in the famous talent show "Juventud Vibra."

But that was not enough. Inspired by his previous successes, he set himself new

targets. He started to create his own choreography which differed from all known

choreographies in Puerto Rico.

Finally, Hector Macano

noticed him and convinced him to cooperate with the "Show Go Dancers", later

known as "S.D.P.UNIT" (Show Dancing Power Unit), consisting of 7 members, who

are successful as directors, producers, actors , dancers and choreographers today.

He worked in productions with DJ Eric, Sammy Fisher and Baron Lopez, who gave

the project a special touch by using elements of Rap. Although the project could not

achieve international fame, the band was very successful on their home ground

lovingly called “Sugar” (“El Bosque Magico de Rap”).

They performed alongside the biggest names in the industry, such as Vico C, Eddie

and Liza M. D.

The company employs and promotes artists from all kinds of the performing arts and

former students who have studied there are now internationally successful, for

example Manny Manuel, Olga Tañon, Grupomanía, Yuri, Giselle, Melina Leon, Luis

Fonsi, Yaviah, Divino, Daddy Yankee, Christian Castro, Angel y Khris, Vico C., Don

Omar.

Raphy worked as a dancer with artists such as Manny Manuel, Olga Tanon,

Grupomania, Yuri, Giselle, Melina Leon, Luis Fonsi, Yaviah, Divine, Daddy Yankee,

Christian Castro, Angel y Khris, Vico C, Don Omar.
