    Panel 3 Very similar to panel 2, but this one is CALCULUS inhis civilian clothes. He is talking to the receptionperson at a more modern looking hospital.

    HECTOR...Or you wanna try to game it out.

    CALCULUS...and that she lost her arm. I have to see her.Is she here?

    Panel 4 The nurse from panel 3 in the foreground talking intoa phone and looking at Calculus. Calculus is in thebackground on his phone.

    COILGame it out?

    HECTORTurn a liability into an asset.

    CALCULUSShe's here. She's at Bronson Hospital.

    Panel 5 CRIMSON GHOST hovering above Coil's hide out in anindustrial park. He is watching CHARGE's pick-uptruck and a large box truck pull out of one of thegarages on the front of the building. Also flyingnear by are SKYLINE and SUPER SABRE. Two RED ALERTMOTOS race along side the small convoy.

    COILExposure can't be an asset.

    Panel 6 Inside the cargo area of the box truck, wall to wallbad guys. VX, CATALYST, SLATE, TRAUMA, STRETCHER,CLAW HAMMER, MONSTER, and CHAINS.

    HECTORAnything that you control can be used to youradvantage. Right now, this exposure is not in yourcontrol. You can either minimize the damage itcauses...

    Page 3 The assault on Bronson. 6 panels

    Panel 1 Wide shot of the emergency room reception area ofBronson Hospital. In the background, we can seeCharge's truck already crashed through a section of

    the glass wall. In the foreground, Hector is crashingthe box truck he is driving through the glass slidingdoors. There are not many people around, but thosethat are, are scattering.

    Panel 2 Hector stepping from the driver's seat of the truck.He moves with power and confidence like an elitecommando, which he is. With two fingers, he isactivating his ear-piece.

    HECTOREverybody listen up. This situation is live. Wehave time for action, not discussion. Keep yourmics off unless you have something to report.

    Panel 3 ARACHNOID and HEARTATTACK coming through a thirdfloor window into a hospital room. The occupant isscrambling from his/her bed in terror.For the rest of this page, Hector's speech will becoming from the ear-pieces of the characters in thepanel.

    HECTORKeep any police response confused and off balance.Move quickly and spread out. If you see one of ourown, move to another area. If you see somethingthat can be broken, break it.

    Panel 4 In a stairwell, looking down the stairs. VXacrobatically vaults up using the handrails, she isfollowed by Slate. Behind them is Catalyst, he isspraying a thin spray on the stairs behind them.

    HECTOROur primary here is Icicle. If you see her, breaksilence and call out your location.

    HECTORThen do your best to kill her.

    Panel 5 Super Sabre, Skyline, and Crimson Ghost landing onthe heli-pad on the hospital roof.

    HECTORThere will likely be three to five armored federalagents here to take our primary into custody.These men are highly-trained and equipped tohandle super-human threats.

    HECTORDo not underestimate them.

    Panel 6 Coil and Charge moving through those large hospitaldoors into an inner part of the building. Charge ismoving a woman out of the way by shoving her headagainst the wall. Coil is touching his ear-piece.

    COILThis is Coil. Do everything the way Hector toldyou. Remember , there are bonuses for stand-outbehavior today and a bounty on Miss Icicle's head.

    Panel 1 Close on the wheels of Icicle's wheelchair rolling.

    Panel 2 As seen in issue #33, a group is escorting Icicledown a hallway in the hospital. An armored securityagent, GUARD 1, is leading, followed by ANDREW whohas a small pistol drawn, behind him is Icicle in awheelchair and missing her right arm. HARTBORN ispushing her. The GUARD CAPTAIN is last. A voice comesover the PA.

    PAAttention, all staff. Code Orange: ER and firstfloor. Repeat. Code Orange: ER and first floor.

    GUARD 1Code Orange. That's a serious disturbance.

    ANDREWMust be those crashes we heard.

    Panel 3 Tighter shot on Icicle, Hartborn, and Captain. Icicleis looking up, worried. Hartborn is looking straightahead. The Captain is speaking into a radio on thewrist of his armor.

    ICICLEIs that about me?

    HARTBORNDoesn't matter. They'll have you out of here in

    just a few minutes.

    GUARD CAPTAINBravo One and Two, get down there. Get intel andassist as needed.

    Panel 4 Tight on Icicle and Hartborn. She is bordering onpanic.

    BRAVO 1Sir. Bravo One. From the look of things up here,this place is crawling with bogies.

    Panel 4 The guard supporting under her arms to help her walk.She is accepting this help but leering at him.

    ICICLEThey're all here for me. You know that. Just leaveme and it won't be your problem anymore.

    Panel 5 The guard turning to talk to Icicle, their heads arepretty close. He is smiling slightly with pride.

    GUARD 1It's already my problem, Ma'am, this is my job.

    GUARD 1So I can tell you, you're going to make it out ofthis building unharmed, you're going to standbefore a judge, and god-willing you're going torot in prison.

    Panel 6 Icicle, still supported by the guard, looking over athim. She is trying to figure him out and trying towalk at the same time.

    GUARD 1Our transport is at the loading dock on the secondfloor.

    Panel 4 Slate and the guard grappling on the ground. He ispunching her rocky hide with his neuro-tasers. TheGuard Captain is over them, punching Slate's headwith his own taser.

    GUARD 1They're not working!

    GUARD CAPTAINYes they are, keep at it.

    SLATENnrrr.

    Panel 5 Shot of Icicle slumping against the wall. Cracks runthrough the plaster of the wall where Slate hit thedoor frame. There are snakes and long-legged spiderscrawling on Icicle, moving toward her mouth. She issupporting herself with her left arm and trying invain to swat away the creatures with her stump.

    ICICLEAaaaah! No!

    Panel 6 Icicle in the foreground, tormented. The main focusof the panel is behind her. Trauma is standing therewith one power-glowing hand extended toward Icicle.The other is touching her ear-piece.

    TRAUMAThis is Trauma and Slate. We've got her on thethird floor.

    Panel 4 Slate, while being restrained and shocked by theguards, lunges weakly toward her dead friend.

    SLATENo!

    GUARD CAPTAINStay down.

    Panel 5 Close on Slate's face. We can see she is gettingpunched in the back of the head by one of the guards.

    SLATETrau--

    Panel 6 Close on Icicle using the wall to right herself, andlooking down at the dead trauma.

    ICICLEShe's dead. You killed her.

    Panel 1 The group moving into the stairwell. The guard withIcicle is still taking point. Then Hartborn andAndrew, then the Captain.

    GUARD 1

    Come on. Keep moving.GUARD CAPTAIN

    You heard that one call in our location. Whoeverwas on the other end knows exactly where we are.

    GUARD CAPTAINHartborn, how many do you think we're dealing withhere?

    HARTBORNHard to say. Those weren't his regulars. I don't

    think they were even from Rapid City.Panel 2 Tight shot on Icicle turning to look back at

    listening, Icicle has been spotted on the thirdfloor...

    Panel 4 In the wrecked reception area, Calculus is sitting onthe reception desk and speaking casually into aphone. There is a dead person behind him. His wordsare echoing on the loud speakers.

    CALCULUS... please go there and kill her.

    PA... please go there and kill her.

    Panel 5 In Switchboard's bunker. We see Switch sitting in herchair, around her, various monitors are playingsecurity camera footage of the hospital.

    SWITCHBOARDEveryone. Hey, everyone! There is somethingseriously bad happening at Bronson Hospital.

    SWITCHBOARDYou all need to get down there. Now.

    Panel 6 Charge doing his stampede attack to the other Bravoguard and destroying a section of the cafeteria inthe process.

    Page 11 Home stretch. 9 panels

    Panel 1 The crew moves along a utility hallway behind acafeteria. Keep this panel small. Perhaps a very thinpanel across the top with just silhouettes and adoor.

    ICICLEI can walk now. Let me do it.

    GUARD 1Don't try anything.

    ICICLELike what? I can't even ice-up.

    GUARD CAPTAINDoesn't matter. That door is the loading dock.

    Panel 2 Shot from behind the guard as he opens the door. Wecan clearly see a large, high-tech, armored vehicleon the far side of a fairly large truck dock/dumpsterarea.

    GUARD 1Looks clear. Keep your eyes open and let's move.

    door. The first guard and Icicle are on the smallflight of stairs to the left of the door. Andrew andHartborn are behind them. The Captain is on theplatform but looking back through the door.

    Panel 4 Inset over panel three. A very small panel showingwhat is going on above this scene. And empty sky,with a tiny streak which we might recognize as a

    glowing woman.Panel 5 The whole crew moving across the empty lot. Icicle is

    walking on her own. The two armored guards are verycautiously looking watching the surroundings.

    Panel 6 Inset over panel 5. Slightly larger than the previousinset. The glowing woman is diving almost directlytoward the reader.

    Panel 7 From behind the crew as they look at the armoredvehicle. The Captain is speaking into his wristradio. The guard is touching buttons on his wrist.Icicle is looking up.

    Panel 8 Looking straight at the crew. Everyone is movingconfidently toward the vehicle, except Icicle who isturning away and using her left arm to push Andrewback.

    Panel 9 Inset panel over panel 8, now taking up almost 50% ofthe panel space. Now we can clearly see the glowingwoman, Skyline, now so close that she is almostbursting the borders of her panel.

    Page 12 Boom. 4 panelsPanel 1 Giant panel. 2/3 of the page. A streak of energy,

    Skyline, is striking the armored vehicle and blowingit to pieces. She is going through it in a 'J' downin through the top and then blasting out anothersection of the top. So, we can actually get a look ather. It is pretty solid, so it doesn't completelytear apart, but the body is bent, all of the doors,windows, hatches, and wheels are blasted of. We seethe shapes of our crew shielding themselves from theblast. Icicle and Andrew get the best cover.

    Panel 2 Wide reaction shot of of everyone looking in shockand dismay, lit by off-panel flames. The Captain islooking up.

    GUARD CAPTAINWe've got to move.

    Panel 3 The Captain hustling the crew into motion. The guardrushes Icicle. Andrew looks up fearfully.

    Whatever that was could be lining up another shotright now. We need cover.

    Panel 4 Small panel showing the crew making it to one of theother loading docks that empty into this area.

    Panel 1 Elsewhere in the hospital. A typical scene of a womangiving birth. Atypically, Claw Hammer is standing inthe entryway looking menacing. Everyone but the maindoctor and the pregnant woman is turning to face ClawHammer in surprise and alarm. A male nurse speaks toClaw Hammer.

    NURSESir, this is a delivery room. You can't be inhere.

    Panel 2 Back to Icicle and the others. The door they choseleads to an area designated for non-urgentdeliveries. All around them are various palates,shelves, and supplies (though those things aren'ttoo visible in this panel. In this panel we seeIcicle looking back past her escorts at the door theyjust came through. The door is only open a crack.

    Panel 3 At the front of the hospital, Flamethrower arrives.She is using one giant flame hand to cushion herdescent, and the other to hold Sidekick, who isanxious to get into it. They are right in front of ahuge sign reading "EMERGENCY".

    FLAMETHROWERCan we really be the first ones here?

    SIDEKICKI think so, we were pretty close.

    Panel 4 Icicle and company in a large, neat, room surroundedby shelves and boxes and stuff. The Captain is givingorders to the guard. Icicle is looking at her

    remaining hand. Hartborn and Andrew are listening tothe Captain.

    GUARD CAPTAINOk, local law-enforcement and our own back up willbe here soon. For now, we find a defensibleposition, away from potential civilian casualties,and we hold it as long as we can.

    HARTBORNCaptain, this is a hospital. I know you can hearwhat's going on up there, and I know you're

    getting reports from your men on the other floors.

    HARTBORNReports, I might add, that you are suddenlychoosing to not share with the rest of us.

    Panel 5 Hartborn and the Captain in each other's faces.

    GUARD CAPTAINAre you making a point, or just taking some notes,Inspector?

    HARTBORNThere are people in danger, Captain, and you'replan is to hide.

    GUARD CAPTAINAll due respect, when I need to know how to coddlecriminals and file reports I'll ask your advice.But as long as our asses are in an escalated

    situation, I think I'll continue to rely on myyears of training and experience.

    GUARD CAPTAINOn the other hand...

    Panel 1 Larger panel of the Captain speaking aggressively inHartborn's face.

    GUARD CAPTAIN... you ignored me when I told you the prisonershould have been moved before she woke up. Thatlittle chat you had up there is what let thissituation get out of control.

    Panel 2 Icicle in the foreground, still looking at her hand.She has formed some small ice ridges along theknuckles. In the backgrounds, the argument continues.

    GUARD CAPTAINSo, if you... you, Agent Hartborn... feel likeignoring me again and heading up there to addressthis situation head-on...

    Panel 3 Hartborn and the Captain still staring one anotherdown. The other guard has approached the Captain. Heis reading data from his forearm display.

    GUARD CAPTAINI'm not stopping you.

    GUARD 1Sir. I've got the map here. We're not far from theincinerator room. It's got limited access pointsand thick, concrete, walls.

    Panel 4 Coil standing over Trauma's dead body. Charge is withhim. Near them, Slate is getting back to her feet.

    Still wobbly. The Captain's speech is In a captionbox.

    GUARD CAPTAINOk. We're moving. Lead the way, Sargent.

    COILWhat the hell happened here?

    SLATEYour half-ass plan just got my friend killed.

    COILYou didn't think they'd defend themselves? Whichway did they go.

    Panel 5 Slate talking to Coil, Coil is turned slightly awayand talking into his head-set.

    SLATEI don't know. Only saw them going to the stairs.

    COILOk, everyone, they're not on the second flooranymore. Spread out.

    Panel 6 In the wide entry-way stairs, Monkey andKnuckleDuster are facing off against Arachnoid andtwo Red Alert Motos.

    Panel 1 Icicle and company entering a freight elevator. TheCaptain is reaching up to pull the doors closed.

    ICICLEI don't like this. it feels like we're trapped.

    GUARD CAPTAINWe are trapped. And no one asked you.

    Panel 2 Andrew and the guard standing near the door and thecontrol panel as the doors slam shut.

    ANDREWShe makes a good point. Is a big noisy elevatorthe best way to travel?

    It's one of the only ways in or out. This was, wecontrol that entrance.

    GUARD 1Plus, if someone does try to get in this way,we'll all be able to see and hear them coming.

    Panel 3 Inside the freight elevator, Icicle turns to talk to

    Hartborn.ICICLE

    Mr. Hartborn.

    Panel 4 Hartborn and Icicle looking at each other.

    ICICLEWhat's going on up there isn't your fault. It'sCoil's fault, and you were trying to stop him.

    HARTBORNThat's kind of you to say, but it's not as simpleas that.

    Panel 5 Everyone stabilizing themselves as the elevator comesto rest. The guard is starting to open the doors.

    GUARD 1Last stop. Everybody out.

    Panel 6 An energy streak, Monster, blasting through thenarrow opening. The guard at the door shieldingIcicle with his body.

    ICICLEMonster!

    Page 16 Last stand. 6 panels

    Panel 1 Pretty large panel. Monster streaking into the largeelevator, ricocheting off a wall and launching towardIcicle. Andrew has drawn his pistol and is firing atMonster. The guard has a gun in his gauntlets and heis also firing at Monster. The bullets are bouncingoff of Monster's kinetic energy field.

    ICICLEYou can't hit him when he's blasting.

    Panel 2 The Guard Captain tackling Monster into the wall. Inthe foreground, the Guard pulls Icicle out of theelevator.

    Inside the elevator, Monster is doing a powered-uppunch to the chest of the guard Captain. He isrocked, but standing his ground. With one hand, he isgrasping the strap which pulls down the upper portionof the door. Through the door, we can see Hartborn,The Guard, Andrew, and Icicle in the hall outside theelevator.

    MONSTERGet out of the way, Cop.

    Panel 4 The Guard leading the others away from the elevator.Icicle is looking back at the elevator doors, She hasgrown thin coating of ice on her hand. Hartborn andAndrew are behind them. Sound effects of guysslamming around are coming from the elevator.

    GUARD 1This way.

    ICICLEWhat about your boss?

    HARTBORNHe's got those taser things. He'll be fine.

    GUARD 1Maybe. Taking down that stone woman drained ourbatteries. I don't know how many charges he's gotleft.

    Panel 5 Close on Hartborn. He is pulling his pistol out.

    HARTBORNYou're kidding me. Ok.

    Panel 6 Hartborn stalking down toward the closed elevatorwith gun in hand. Thuds, slams, and other fightsounds are coming from within.

    HARTBORNY'all go ahead and find cover. I'll be alongshortly.

    GUARD 1We secure the prisoner and wait for evacuation,yes.
