2.0 TRANSMITTER OVERVIEW

The Rapid Racing Drone features 3 different flight modes that are easily changed via the transmitter. There is a mode suitable for all levels of piloting skill.

• Select the appropriate mode according to your flight skills.

• For your first test flight always start with Beginner Mode until you are comfortable with the flight controls and are ready for more control.

Beginner Mode - The flight control system utilizes auto stabilization to allow the pilot the ability to try the different movements of the drone in a stable environment, you can not perform any rolls in this mode.

Advanced Mode - The flight control system utilizes partial auto stabilization to allow the pilot more flexibility in flight but still providing some assistance with flight stability. You can roll in this mode when strafing, be careful.

Professional Mode - The flight control system allows for full flight control for the pilot that has mastered drone flight. No stabilization is active in this mode, full 3D movement with rolls, flips and tight turns are at your fingertips.

Hardware changes should only be done by someone with previous drone experience as full disassembly is required to access all motor and ESC connections. The drone’s motors must be soldered to the ESC for each arm, connections for the clockwise motors should be flipped over when connected to the motor so the motors spin in the proper directions. If the CW motors spin in the same direction as the CCW motors you need to re-solder the top and bottom contacts in reverse to change the motors direction, leave the center connection.

The receiver is setup and ready to be used with the provided transmitter, no changes are necessary. Experienced users may reference the overviews below when connecting new

hardware. Spare S-BUS and PWM connectors are supplied for transmitters that require it and do not use the already connected PPM connection. Hardware changes should only be done by someone with previous drone experience as full disassembly is required to access all receiver connections.
