Introduction
The Rapid Test portal is a reporting tool used in conjunction with the Rapid Test app and the Rapid Test
hardware installed in the switchboard.
RCD test data is uploaded from the Rapid Test app into the portal.
Reports show the RCD test compliance status of businesses and sites.
A subscription is required to use the portal.

Subscribe to the Portal
1. Go to www.rapidtestsystems.com.au
2. Click on the link at the bottom of the screen:
3. The page that opens provides details about the different subscription levels, a comparison table and
cost information.
4. Once decided which subscription suits your needs, contact us using either the Contact link at the top
of the page or the Let’s Get in Touch box:
5. A Rapid Test representative will be in touch to further discuss the options.
6. An invoice will be sent to you.
7. Once paid, you will receive an email which provides an access link to the portal.

Access the Portal
1. Access the Rapid Test portal from www.assetdata.info
2. A login screen opens.
3. Enter your email address and password as provided.
4. Click on Log me in.
5. The portal opens showing the default ‘Dashboard’ screen.
6. Use the left menu to navigate around the portal.

Useful Icons
or Sort the data. Information is sorted dependent upon the type of data in the column e.g.
alphabetically, date order, numerically etc. Note: the column heading must be clicked first to enable the
sort icons. Click on a column heading and appears. Click again and appears. Click a third time
and the sort is removed.
Filter the results. Click on the icon at the top of the required column. Enter a value and choose the
option ‘Starts with’ or ‘Contains’ from the dropdown list. Click Filter. To remove the filter, click on the icon
again. Click Clear.
Drill down to the next level of detail.
Collapse the level of detail.
Navigate through the report pages. Use the forward / back
arrows to scroll. Use the numbers to jump directly to a particular page.
This is displayed in the top left corner of each screen (apart from on the Master Filter
screen). Click this at any time to open the Master Filter.
This is displayed in the top right corner to indicate the number of filters being used at a Business level.
Click to show the filters applied. Click to remove one of the filters. Click Clear All to remove all filters.
Click anywhere outside of the box to remove the pop-up.
This is displayed in the top right corner to indicate the number of filters being used at a Site level.
Click to show the filters applied. Click to remove one of the filters. Click Clear All to remove all filters.
Click anywhere outside of the box to remove the pop-up.
This is displayed in the top right corner to indicate the number of filters being used at a Switchboard
level. Click to show the filters applied. Click to remove one of the filters. Click Clear All to remove all

Dashboard
The Dashboard is the default screen once logged on and provides an overview of the following:
• Sites Overdue - Past Rolling 12 Months
All sites that are overdue a test within the last 12 months (left graph).
• Sites To be Tested- Future Rolling 12 Months
All sites that are due to be tested in the next 12 months (right graph).
Data shown is dependent upon individual user permissions. Changing the selection in the Master Filter does
not affect the results on the Dashboard.
1. Click on the blue or red dots on the graph to show sites for a particular month. Red refers to the number
of switchboards. Blue refers to the number of sites.
2. The sites are listed in the box underneath.

Master Filter
Using the Master Filter
1. Click on in the top left corner of the Dashboard, Live Data or Reports screen.
Note: The Master Filter icon does not display if already in the Master Filter.

3. Click on one of the following icons depending on the data required:
4. Use the dropdown arrows next to each filter to select required search criteria.
5. Results display in the box at the bottom of the screen.
6. Click on the required business(s) / site(s) / switchboard(s). Those selected are highlighted in red.
7. Click Apply at the bottom of the screen.
8. The last report type used is automatically displayed. If the Master Filter was accessed from the
Dashboard, the Dashboard displays. Click on either Live Data or Reports from the left menu to view the
required report.
Notes:
• To deselect a business / site / switchboard in the Master Filter, click on it again. This removes the red
highlight. To deselect all, click on Clear Selected.
• If the Master Filter is changed, it is necessary to click Apply before selecting the required report.
Otherwise the data within the report is not updated.
• A bracketed number e.g. (3) within one of the above icons indicates how many businesses, sites or
switchboards have been selected in the Master Filter. The number of filters applied at each level is also
shown on the icon.
• The ‘Apply’ and ‘Discard’ buttons are greyed out if nothing in the filter has changed or if nothing is
selected.

Change the Master Filter
1. Click against each dropdown box to remove an individual filter or click in the top right corner
to delete all applied filters.
2. Make new selections and click Apply at the bottom of the screen.
3. Click Discard if changes are not required and the last report used will be shown.
Master Filter Toolbar
There are 4 possible icons available in the top right corner of the Master Filter screen.
The icon only appears once a favourite filter has been saved.
The icon appears once a favourite filter has been applied.

Save a Favourite Filter
1. Enter search criteria as per the ‘Using the Master Filter’ section.
2. Click .
3. In the pop-up box, enter a name for the filter.
4. Click Save.
5. A brief success message appears in the top right corner and fades away.
Apply a Favourite Filter
1. Click .
2. In the pop-up box, click on the required filter name in the list.
3. This automatically applies the favourite filter.
4. A brief success message appears in the top right corner and fades away.
5. The filter currently being used is indicated in the top left corner.

Change an Existing Favourite Filter
1. Apply the favourite filter as above.
2. Make relevant changes to the filter.
3. Click .
4. In the pop-up box, click Yes to confirm the changes.
5. Another confirmation message appears. Click Yes to confirm that the filter will be changed.
Delete a Favourite Filter
1. Click .
2. In the pop-up box, click next to the relevant filter.
3. Click Yes on the confirmation message. The filter is removed from the favourite filter list.
4. A brief success message appears in the top right corner and fades away.
Clear all Current Filters
1. Click .
2. In the pop-up box, click Yes to clear the currently applied filters.
Note: This deletes the current filters applied. It does not delete the saved filter from the favourite filter
list.

Live Data
Live Data is a detailed reporting tool using data selected in the Master Filter.
1. Apply the relevant selections in the Master Filter screen. Refer to the section ‘Using the Master Filter’.
2. A detailed report is displayed with the ability to drilldown from Business to RCD level.
3. Drill down, sort and filter the data using the icons available. Refer to the section ‘Useful Icons’.
4. Click to display business, site, switchboard or RCD details. These are displayed in a pop-up
box. Click on the cross in the top right of the box to return to the Live Data screen.
Note: It is not possible to print or export the information on the Live Data screen.

Reports
1. Click on Reports in the left menu to expand the list of reports available.
Note: Data in the reports is based on the selection in the Master Filter.
2. Select the required report:
Business Report
This is a summary of the compliance status of a business or businesses including sites and switchboards.
Site Report
This is a summary of the compliance status of a site or sites including switchboards.
Switchboard Report
This is a summary of the compliance status of a switchboard or switchboards.
RCD Report
This is a summary of the compliance status of an RCD or RCDs.

Report Header
The report header is shown at the top of all reports created from the Reports menu.
It provides information about which filters have been applied in the Master Filter.
Reporting Toolbar
The toolbar is available at the top of all reports created from the Reports menu.
Notes:
• It is not possible to email the reports directly from the portal. Use the ‘Export’ option to create an
Acrobat (PDF) file and email the document.
• It is not possible to drill down, sort or filter the reports.

Edit Assets
Editing may not be available as it is dependent upon the individual level of access.
Data in the ‘Edit Assets’ screen is based on the selection in the Master Filter.
1. Click on Edit Assets in the left menu.
2. The ‘Edit Assets’ screen opens.
3. Drill down to the required level of detail.
4. Click on the Edit button next to the required business, site, switchboard or RCD.

5. A pop-up window opens. Make the required changes.
Note: Information in the pop-up box differs dependent upon what type of data is being changed.
6. Click on Update in the pop-window to save the changes.

Permissions
Permissions Manager
Use this section to control the level of access for individual users.
This option may not be available as it is dependent upon the individual level of access.
1. Click on Permissions in the left menu.
2. Click on Permissions Manager.
3. ‘Types of Permissions’ info is displayed which shows the level of permissions available. Read through the
options available to ensure the correct level of access is assigned in the next steps.
4. Click Next.

5. ‘Action selection’ screen is displayed.
6. Choose one of the 3 options:
• Give New Permissions
• Edit Permissions
• Remove All Existing Permissions.
7. Click Next.
8. ‘Specify Users’ screen is displayed.
9. Enter the email address(es) of user(s) to allocate access to or change access. Press enter after each
email address to allow another to be added.
10. Click Next.

11. Select the business to grant or remove access to.
12. Drill down to select access by site.
13. Select the required permissions to be granted using the check boxes.
14. Click Next.
15. The confirmation screen opens. Verify the changes are correct.

16. Click Finish to complete the changes.

My Permissions
Use this section to view a user’s own permissions. This is for information only. Permissions cannot be changed
here.
1. Click on Permissions in the left menu.
2. Click on My Permissions.
3. Click on the relevant tab to choose to view permissions by subscription, businesses or sites.

Configuration
Use this to make changes to individual settings.
This option may not be available as it is dependent upon the individual level of access.
1. Click on Configuration in the left menu.
2. The following settings screen is displayed:

Logout of the Portal
1. Click on Profile Actions in the left menu.
2. Click on Sign Out.
Note: The portal automatically logouts after 15 minutes of inactivity. The login screen is displayed. It is
necessary to log in again. Refer to the section ‘Access the Rapid Test Portal’.

Troubleshooting
